This. In case VOIP friend is not available, break some unarmed noob's legs, then fill him up with 10 bloodpacks. Seriously guys, stop posting idiotic suggestions like "bandaging should remove bandit skin". @bandit skin: better than nothing, but imo Rocket should just bring the hammer down on deathmatch. Punish it. Zero humanity triggers infection and turns players into zombies, problem solved. -

@Rocket: If possible, please make tents save as "gone" when packing them, or add a "destroy" option or something. At least we can remove tents that are used for duping, then. -

In version 1.7.2.4: 1) Took a tent item from a tent (so it was a duped tent item) 2) Placed the tent, put items in it, saved it. 3) Took all items from it again and packed it. After a server restart, the tent appeared again, all items were still there except for a rifle. -

Location A is next to noob spawn. Noob needs that bike to get to his friends in a reasonable amout of time. Location D is next to some veteran's collection on the other side of the map. Veteran needs that bike so he can masturbate looking at his collection. Is that unfair? you tell me. -

So you agree that you're doing it wrong by playing this game deatchmatch-style? In case you haven't figured out the secret of survival in your harsh, animalistic world where only the "strongest" survive: 1) Stop shooting each other for no reason. 2) Eat and drink. 3) Don't be dumb enough to get killed by zombies. Done! It's not rocket science, isn't it. The one and only threat in this game are CoD kiddies and bored veterans, and the whole thing is as "gamey" and unrealistic as it gets. -

Those filled with the life force of their murdered victims should gravitate towards zombies. Seriously, it's what happens in many good zombie / infection movies. People turn into monsters, and at some point, it's hard to tell whether they are infected or just monsters. -

Agree. Slightly increase medical & military loot in towns. And why isn't there any loot outside of buildings? Exploring towns is pointless, because every town has the same loot in the same buildings. It's just way too predictable. Maybe the community could help Rocket out with loot placement? -

Q: How are you going to deal with deathmatch & griefing, if at all? TLDR version: People love to point out that you don't want to punish a particular playstyle, and use that to justify f.e. deathmatch. But imo deathmatch is essentially an exploit of game mechanics, and the community cannot balance this out. It's like trying to fight hackers by hacking them - DayZ would become an endless hacking contest with zombies, and only the hackers would enjoy it. Same thing with deathmatch. -

Rocket never said he wants to support lunatics. That's just completely taken out of context. And if you think "encouraging cooperation" will have any effect whatsoever, you are simply naive and don't understand how griefing works. That's just as ridiculous as thinking that enouraging cooperation will have an effect on hackers using kill-scripts. They both do it for the LULZ!, that's all there is to it. -

Agree, random knockouts and broken bones are just weird. I'd welcome a better mechanic. -
Does direct voice communication work on all servers? How can i find out if it works or not? And does text chat always work or is it sometimes buggy? Thanks for the help!
