You're all wrong sorry but wrong. You were never sick when you used the tincture hence you made yourself sick for no reason. You player will display messages like "my wounds itch" or "my wounds ....." when you need to use tincture. Same goes for using antibiotics if you don't need them as well as charcoal tabs.

I see so many people saying they are getting sick after cleaning they're wounds. Reason for this is your wounds were never infected. Your character will say random messages like "my wounds itch" or "my wounds hurt" or "my wounds are infected" when you need to apply alcohol tincture. Same goes for all medicinal items like antibiotics and charcoal tabs. If you use them and don't have the symptoms you will make yourself sick.

Im from the US on the east coast, im 31 yrs old. I play very aggresive and usually KOS. I see lots of other clans recruiting here but nothing that really fits me. I am elite status and have special skills. I dont want to join a clan just to be a recruit and be told i cant have a coke from a vehicle. This is just a game and i play it as a game. I dont kill clan mates. I dont care about tents or vehicles but just want to play with a fun group and kill other players. I play every evening after 5 pm eastern time and all weekend long non stop. DayZ is the only game i play.

ALL OF YOU ARE A JOKE!!!! and i mean that seriously!!! I was at green mountain hundreds of times before last night. It was about 11-12 early morning and the server was pitch black also but i had NVGs so i was good. I was at the big white tower on green mountain by the pile of dead corpses when all of a sudden i hear "We are the voices of....." followed by a meaner, sterner voice saying "We will not be forgotten" I had just arrived and was only there for about 30 secs and quikly scrolled the mouse wheel and got the hell out of there as quikly as i had gotten there (DONT ASK). Anyway im not making a joke, and i know that no one was hiding in the bush like another guy said above. I know 110% positive that it was not direct chat in game (DONT ASK) I just know for a fact that i was alone and when i turned fast from left to right i could just barely make out foggy images. I was covered in goosebumps and pure out freaked out!!! I wasnt going to post on this thread because of the lack of seriousness and am trying to find someone else who has heard the voices before. I did not have mtn dew and did not have a radio. I do not care about the morse code, never heard it but not freaked out about a recorded beeping message. And i do not care if you believe me or dont take me serious. I know what i heard and possibly saw!!! i will not be going back EVER EVER EVER!!!

yeh thats what im talking about!!! and come to think about i heard a npc voice when i shot a zombie once too!!! He said "owwww that hurt" or something like that and then let out a sigh and died!

At about 1230 am easern time i found my self near green mountain. This was not my first time to green mountain and although ive heard the many horror stories about the place i was not worried and fearless. I ventured up and snuck behind the big white tower by the pile of dead bodies and where the uaz spawns. Alll of sudden from both earphones i start hearing voices clear as day. The first one caught me off gaurd and i only caught "We are the voices of........." and then shortly after in a very stern meaner voice i hear "We will not be forgotten". By this time im covered in goosebumps and frantically scanning 360 degrees with my mk48 mod 0. Needless to say i didnt hang around to hear or see anything else i ran fast as i could out of there. This is not made up and is no attempt at gaining attention. I dont care if you believe me or not. I know what i heard and possibly saw. Any one else out there had this happen to them?
