Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't those games you listed above all CPU-demanding? I know ARMA 2 is mainly CPU and MC is Java, meaning it's CPU - i don't know anything about LoL, but it would make sense if it'd be that way.

I don't know if you remember the hype around the game at all, but it's not been like Dean wanted to release the game by all means. He asked us if he should and eventually caved in due to the massive demand by the community. The last two months before release were just completely mental - the community was completely losing their mind and demanded it everywhere. Leviski seems to remember Anywhere you'd go you'd be spammed with: ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Give SA It was due to the high pressure of the community, not because Dean ran out of money after buying his 3rd Lamborghini. The community seems to forget this at times and blames Dean, but the community wanted to have the game and as soon as they did they immediately jumped on it, forgetting what it was in the first place, an Alpha - and that it was released as such. And even thought the people that were saying "just give it to us, we can deal with it being Alpha" happened to be the same guys that then said "what a shit game this is!" immediately after release. I do remember the time before release and how we were being harrassed via PM / Steam / Skype, simply because your name would pop up somewhere on some testingserver indicating you were in early access and knew all the answers to the universe. It wasn't very pleasant and I can't see how it would have been different for Dean. Let's do not forget, shall we, it was the community wanting this and they got what they wanted.

I did not understand when you were saying, that League of Legends has the same problems. What about other games? Did you try other games or are the mod and LoL the only games you tried? If so, make sure it's not something faulty in your computer. Though I do find it funny that a lot of money is being paid for the simplest of scripts these days I don't think you're going to attract anyone with 5 quid. Also: the link Beck provided above isn't about "searching through tons of files", it tells you exactly what you need to do step by step in Tutorials. You should try actually clicking that link. If you're not willing to invest this amount of time, yet want those scripts you have no business running a server. You need to be able to fix things / sort things out in a timely manner, otherwise it doesn't make sense. If your only plan regarding that is to hire someone for 5 quid then there'll be no dedication from those people towards your server and certain things are never going to be fixed / changed. You need to be able to do things yourself, otherwise it's not worth getting a server in the first place. Please do not take offense by my words, it's merely help I am trying to offer, as ARMA / DayZ servers are extremely timeconsuming to maintain and if you're already trying to get others on board before even starting you should think about starting it in the first place, as you effectively will never be done maintaining a server.

The error and the "wait for host" indicates that the server can't find the missionfile. What is the content of your "MPMission" folder?

Combining three studios into one devteam working on DayZ and getting the Zombies finally replaced. One could say that those are high on the list, especially considering how vocal the community has been about that. I personally would put that high on my list, and it is right up there on their list, because the community asked for it. Spawns aren't.

Doesn't work like that. Balota and Kamenka now have military bases. Upon release it was a far worse deathmatch, because Balota offered everything you'd need, even more than Berezino does now. If you never leave Berezino, yes. I personally haven't been there in months. Act counterintuitive and you're fine. You really only go to Berezino if you're searching for Deatchmatch. The spawns will change anyway, it's just not really high on the list, as it's more balancing than anything.

Any packaged food, such as soups, not only the Ramen ones or whatever they're called. There's a huge variety in those that you can atleast survive off (given you have water). But it's completely logical why the cans were chosen, because any can give you longtime storability. Does anyone outside Germany understand this? Is that a word?

You did say that it only launches once when you tick the box "launch with Steam". Try that and use the thread I posted above to sort out the error you get.

I have never heard of that before, and I can't think of any reason at the moment.

You need to quote people so they get notifications. Otherwise one can't tell whether someone posted in a thread again. I don't keep threads open for multiple days, so it's hard to monitor when you're not giving an indication, for example using the quote function.
