You can use Steam if you fancy blue-screening your server. This won't always happen, but dedicated servers don't usually have the graphical power to display the GUI of Steam, which is why SteamCMD was published in the first place. It is really use to use and you don't risk losing your server. Nothing is different, just the way you install it.

Do not use DayZCommander. It's obsolete at this point. Launch the game by adding Launch-Parameters to whatever version you've got installed and want to launch. "Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Beta [108074]" will join both 108074 and 103718"Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Beta [112555]" will join only 112555"Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead [beta]" will join 124879You can have "Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead" and "Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead Beta" installed at the same time, they do not corrupt each other. If you've done it properly it will show up with those exact names above. To launch any mod, go to your" Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead" folder and copy the folder name of whatever you want to launch. (IE "@Dayz") Then go to your Launch Parameters in Steam and add this -mod=foldername You will have to exchange the foldername with the mod you're trying to launch - in the case of DayZ Mod 1.8.1 it should look like this: -mod=@Dayz Save Launchparameters and you're done.

I can only think of two, maybe three, in the entire city and I wouldn't consider that "everywhere" when there are 2 million people living here. It depends on how you define mall, I guess. But you won't find any outside the cities and most certainly not in low density rural ares like Chernarus.

It is infact very possible with a VM.

Massive malls are already a rare thing in Germany and its fairly high density. I doubt something like this would be a part of Chernarus.

ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA retail CD-Keys work on Steam, so you can activate it on there. You will have to install the newest Beta Patches with Steam, but this doesn't create a two class system, as any / all CD-Keys work on Steam. There is a section for the mod, but that would be the official Mod, not Epoch. We are in no way affiliated with Epoch / OverWatch or even OverPoch. The official mod doesn't have AI nor missions nor anything of that sorts. Last, but not least you have posted in the DayZ Standalone section, which has even less to do with this. I don't get any of the options above? How do animals affect the rest of the environment? How does having vehicles exclude having guns? How is this exactly supposed to be working?
