You see, you still have this: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/6794-i-give-up-this-game-is-bull-i-want-my-money-back/

Text-Chat is about 50m, whilst Voice-Chat is about 80m - if I am not mistaken.

There's no need to be harsh about it. You can't tell anyone where they're supposed to post and where they aren't allowed to. Accolyte's here and has been for a while, it's not really his fault if you don't see him about. He's also actively taking care of the Feedback-Tracker, so that the issues get elevated as well as the suggestions on the Forum. As long as everything's being passed on I don't see where the problem is, as it has become much better than it felt before.

I don't know, but I am usually very hungry when I wake up, especially when it's on some beach in a post-soviet state after the zombie apocalypse outbreak where I don't know who nor where I am. I am not surprised, you look very hungry in your avatar.
-
FYI: The hero / bandit / humanity system will change as soon as possible anyway, which is why it's rather tedious to discuss it at its current state.
-
Yes, it is a reward, as noone's forcing you to play at this stage in time. You don't have to play the game but still end up owning the full priced game once it comes out, thus it's a reward for supporting the development in this early stage.
-
You are already being rewarded by helping the development of the game with a discount of the game, as it will only increase in price over time.

If you're using "0.47" as Version-Number it works just fine. -
Bad Version, Server Rejected Connection. Any / All problems regarding Beta-Patches for ARMA 2: OA
kichilron replied to kichilron's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Make sure that you're actually launching the mod, as you're being kicked from the server for not having the Expansions activated. To add Launch-Parameters to your Game, rightlick on Steam -> Properties -> Set Launch Options Add this: -mod=@Dayz in the case of DayZ-Mod. -
Add-ons Are Not Signed By A Key Accepted By This Server
kichilron replied to Peter Johnston's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Make sure you're actually launching the mod. You will be able to see in the Main-Menu after being disconnected from the server on the bottom right side. Moved to Mod-Section -
Sorry bud, they can use those models just fine. The reason being: The ARMA 3 campaign even features those. The models itself are a part of ARMA 3 now and can be spawned in no problem. Thus making it perfectly fine for Admins to use.

Fresh start? try UK810 DayZ Overpoch Server
kichilron replied to mgm (DayZ)'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Only bump once a day. Especially considering WolfHaley has received multiple warnings on this Forum regarding this, you should know better than just going about bumping a topic. This is your last warning. Three and you're out. -
Petition against globally restricted loot
kichilron replied to coltonlong's topic in General Discussion
Might be an idea to include a poll if you want a vote instead of a discussion. As a note for the future: tossing your words at us in Caps-Lock doesn't make your point anymore valid. Just my .02 on this? I did my best in the mod to battle duping and serverhopping on the mainhive, and I really don't want this to happen again on the Standalone, which is why something like globally controled max amount of certain items (NVG's come to mind) would be a way of battling that. Otherwise there will always be too many of it, as we all know there will always be ways to work your way around it, unless you have it controlled globally by the server. Other games do this as well, DayZ wouldn't be the first one to do it. It also does not create a two-class-system within the servers and I don't see why people always tend to imply it would. It's not like anyone in the Dev-Team would go about adding "This server has NVG's!" OR "This server does not have NVG's! Don't bother playing on here!" to the name of the server - hence why it's tedious assuming it would create a two class system anyway. Effectively it would work more like: "Server wants to spawn loot" -> "Server asks mainhive if is allowed to" -> "Mainhive says NO - already have 1,000 NVG's." -> "Server doesn't spawn" This is in no way creating a two-class-system as you would never be able to determine which server is going to spawn which item and at which point. This is the exact reason why people play this game. It is pure chance whether you will get something or not. Lastly: -
If you come here to find help with a crash that is occuring in your game, please do not post new topics. Please read the pinned topics. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/186540-my-dayz-crashed-what-do-i-do/

Especially with ARMA-games you will see a lot of improvements, due to the way the engine works. A lot of files being packed into .pbo's, which are packed files containing other files - similar to a .rar file. This requires a lot of indexing, meaning you will get a proper boost from using an SSD with any BIS-Game (ARMA 2 / ARMA 3 / DayZ). I always install my BIS-Games on an SSD and swear by it, as it improves the experience a lot - atleast from a subjective point of view, but this is really all that counts, no matter what fancy numbers say.

DayZ Experimental 0.47 ShowCase (Feedback wanted)
kichilron replied to Biosensation's topic in Gallery
Your Microphone seems to be a bit too quiet Especially considering you seem to be talking fairly quick whilst mumbling randomly (Overall one could understand everything, but you really need to work on your pronounciation, if you want to keep doing this) Am I the only one that had some artifacts throughout the video (was it on purpose?)Moved to Exp. Disc. -
Just remove it and reinstall / verify your gameintegrity to be sure the files aren't damaged.
