Have you tried different hives? Maybe your character is corrupted. Try out joining the Hardcore-Hive.

You see, this is the kind of stuff that has been going on for a while. Neither your nor me can do anything about it. It's the Developer's preferred way of communicating and we're putting it all together in one place for convenience (as there is no searchfunction on Twitter, if I remember correctly). You can, however, search on here. And this is what I did. I searched for "Heli Crash" on the Forum and found this thread, explaining everything I need to know regarding this. This doesn't mean you have to constantly search for it, but the information is still there and was for over a week at the point of you posting this - which is why this information should have theoretically been available to you. It is just a word and I am sorry if it offended you. One (important) thing to note, however: None of us are in any way affiliated with Bohemia Interactive. We do not receive money, we are here on a voluntary basis. You are not my customer, I do not owe you anything. We are here to keep this (in some regards official) Forum going, but it is a community-Forum after all. If you're reporting bugs on the Feedbacktracker you should note, that that is actually being taken care of by BI-employees - meaning it's a better way of contacting Devs in regards to bugs / fixing them. But this also means that they're on a 9 to 5 day, which is why I would not expect an acknowledgement within a mere 4 days.

Admittedly it's not all handed to you on a silverplate, but there is no need for that anyway, it's fr too complex to be able to distribute the information evenly anyway. We have the DevTracker, we have all the information around, you just need to read it. This is how the modern age works. If I want to know something, I need to read up on it. If this is going to be another one of those topics where you just come here ranting about information that is not available you should check your sources first. I personally do not read Twitter nor Reddit, because I don't like it - but yet I still seem to be having all the necessary information from this Forum. Can't really call that a lack of information.

However much you dislike the fact that HFB shut down and left you powerless and pennyless - I don't think it's fair to judge the new host, that is - as stated - disconnected from HFB. Especially calling them names is completely uncalled for and there is no space for that on this Forum, as it's abusive. Spam is part of the Internet and this does not fall under spam, it's not forcing some penis-pills down your throat. It's merely letting you know, that there is a new serverhost with extremely capable people working on it (as Pwnz0r was the one developing the Private Hive Packages anyway). You don't have to buy anything from them, but they have to advertise their business in some way, do they not? I thought it was one of the better mails at that, so I am not too worried.

It's quite alright. I personally do not use reddit, as I don't like it. But the layout on mobile isn't quite as perfect as it could be. I do a lot with IP.Board (obviously), but if I can avoid being on here on my mobile, I will. The sheer amount of posts / topic can hardly be handled with a phone and I always need about a trazillion tabs open to manage the Forum, which is why it's out of the picture for me (and most likely for the Devs as well). Look, we have accolyte on here, posting almost every day, as well as working the Feedback Tracker, so you can't really say noone is around. They're here and giving feedback. Just because Dean prefers reddit doesn't mean this place is doomed.

Because there need to be rules and someone needs to take care of this. It needs to be controlled, actions must be taken if abused, and so forth. I don't know what your childhood consisted of, but just because you scream very loudly for something doesn't mean you get it immediately. Which is what you're basically saying above. Thought needs to be put into it. Not to mention the logistics behind the Database itself and the implementation of it. If you have an idea, please do share. If you have a system in place and done, please do share.

I doubt that the size is something that will stay if it's really that off as you're saying. Expect it to change. When - I don't know. Does it matter? Not really. It's not really affecting gameplay after all and a mere resize of the model itself can be done at any given time, though I would prefer if Dev-Time is being thrown at other stuff, that is actually affecting gameplay.

The prefix "Private" doesn't necessarily resemble anything. It can also be a server having problems connecting to the hive, not actually being a true private hive, as it would be news to me that those are actually available to anyone. Note, that the experimental servers show "Private" as well, though they're connected in between as well.

Rightclick on DayZ in your Steam-Library -> go to "Properties" -> go to "Local Files" and click "Verify Game Integrity". Wait until it fixes everything and relaunch.

Download DayZ Mod from Steam and launch it. Then search for servers in the ingame browser.
