This was only a concept, it never quite made it. We ran out of people and time for the Journal. Currently noone is working on it, as it's a proper pain doing UI on ARMA. If you know anyone or have any ideas, feel free to contact me.

Those are all overpoch / Epoch servers. Just Filter for "DayZ" with the method I described above.

How did you launch it then? Can't really go wrong if you're launching it directly off Steam. Make sure that you're joining servers that are actually running DayZ Mod in the version you have (1.8.2). A normal DayZ Server is usually named something like this: kichilron's DayZ Server (1.8.2/124582) - hosted by [...] Note, that it says both DayZ Mod and the version (1.8.2) - only join those servers that actually have the same version as you do.

You didn't follow my steps then. I described you step by step what to do and you have not done it. That message just proves what you're saying as you do not have DayZ Mod installed. How do you think you are going to play something you do not have installed?

You haven't given us anything to work with, actually. Please include information. Just saying that you can't connect to any servers doesn't give us any information - though we would be more than happy to help you out. When you launch DayZ Mod, click on Multiplayer, go to Internet, click on Filter, search for a servername (partial search is recommended - ie: Servername is "kichilron's Testserver" - search for "kich")

All you need to do then is follow these steps to be able to play DayZ Mod: Install ARMA 2 on Steam Run ARMA 2 Install ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead on Steam Run ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead Install DayZ Mod on Steam Run DayZ Mod Done.

Well, that has been fun while it lasted. What a nice community we have around here. A few warnings have been dished out, namely trtk - who isn't even around for more than 24 hours and already earned himself a nice break. Remember, people - be nice and don't try to take it upon yourself whether a thread is deemed worthless for this community. Report the thread and let us handle it. I don't mind it if people tell their story, as that's what it is about after all on a Forum.
