With the DMR being effective on 800m that is long range. Anything above that is unecessary and imbalanced. The M107's and AS50's aren't banned, but do 0 damage to prevent / fool scripting. Select the option and build? If you're missing something, it should tell you.

Build around a 4790k.. Can I get some recommendations on MB and RAM?
kichilron replied to Irish.'s topic in Technology/Programming
Is there a particular reason you want the i7? For gaming an i7 is in most cases overkill (the only game actually using multiple cores being BF4 as far as I am aware). Usually it's good enough to save money on the processor by going with the i5 (especially if planning on overclocking). Unless you're going to be video-editing in HD a lot (I do see you're planning on, but depends if it's worth the extra money). Motherboards don't really need so much consideration anymore these days, as the only differences between them mostly are accesories these days (USB-Ports / SATA-Ports / Onboard WiFi / Bluetooth, etc, etc) This should do: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-SABERTOOTH-MARK2-Sabertooth-Motherbd/dp/B00LGOF2DE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1417637477&sr=8-5&keywords=z97+sabertooth For RAM I'd go with 16 GB of this: http://www.amazon.com/1600MHz-PC3-12800-Desktop-KHX16C10B1BK2-16/dp/B00AHWXS32/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1417637543&sr=8-3&keywords=hyperx+black For gaming 8 is more than enough, but for Video-Editing it's better to have more than that. RAM-speeds are one of the biggest lies in mankind, in my oppinion. Especially in games not making a difference. It goes as far gaining 1-2 FPS from having 2400 instead of 1333. -

I suppose there is no other way of making you understand this, so I will just send you on a break. I don't even understand what kind of world your mind is floating in that you think rape is acceptable in any kind of way. That's just plain disgusting. -

You can have your character's position reset: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/190827-dayz-support-stuck-characters-etc/ -
I would have stopped after fucking it up for the second time, knowing too well that I apparently am not capable of doing in the right angle. You have some dedication.

Please search before posting: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/216240-stable-051125720-discussion/?p=2173120 If you want to play Stable, you have to have the Stable version. There is no cross-compatibility at this point, as the .exe's differ. There are two different ones for Exp and Stable. -
Generally yes, but not in this case. It will be "normal" as soon as it's zoomed.
-
Same thing as what I said, really. Not zoomed in == Camera appears to be far off.
-
It is not zoomed in. That's the only difference I can find in comparison to other scopes. Most likely a bug / misconfigured. Expect it to change.

Please note that we have no affiliation with neither Overwatch nor Epoch, and especially not with the bastardization of two mods of the mod of our mod, which is OverWatch. If you want to receive qualified help, please check the their Forum.

I thought rampant alcoholism is a thing in Australia?

Known, because of all the people complaining about the sway. Will be reworked with next patch.

Not a bug, make sure to read the Patchnotes.

Sadly, actually administrated servers running up2date versions are very rare these days, hence why they jump up to the top almost immediately. I remember leaving my test-server running for atleast 2 months without monitoring it whilst I was doing other things and it never once restarted - yet people were playing on it. Same thing with testservers whenever I forget to password them. They usually fill up over night if I don't shut them down.

Fuel Source Depletion And Alternative Fuel Sources (Server Uptime)

Stand by my point, Diesel-Engine's can take this kind of stuff easily. -
One look on this Forum rather than Google would have sufficed:
-
AS50 and M107 nor Lapua is available. Lapua never has been.
-
One topic will do, there really is no need for more than one. Merged.

As the name states, Vanilla is Vanilla and thus the original. Epoch is not linked to us in any way other than the fact that they're basing their own mod off of the basestructure of DayZ. This thread, however, is only to be used as feedback / discussion regarding DayZ Mod.

Fuel Source Depletion And Alternative Fuel Sources (Server Uptime)
kichilron replied to Steak and Potatoes's topic in Suggestions
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetable_oil_fuel#Legal_implications Apparently legal, but only if you pay the taxes on it. But that's just theoretical anyway - noone would ever do that and I doubt you have done it in your case. It's a big thing in Germany (I mean it's being tested by police a lot), not only rapsoil, but also oil used for heating, as it's using different tax-rates. If you're caught, bad things will happen and you will pay huge fines. -
I am surprised that this has to be point out to you. Breaking Point has achieved nothing, it still is DayZ Code, despite the fact that this is agaist the licensing rules (as on A3). Are you really surprised it was removed from the ARMA 3 contest? Trolls like you aren't welcome here, you should know this by now. Nothing you say represents informed arguments.

Don't know what you mean. Never happened

What do you mean "still"? I sure hope it will always be like that.

Fuel Source Depletion And Alternative Fuel Sources (Server Uptime)
kichilron replied to Steak and Potatoes's topic in Suggestions
Not to mention it is highly illegal, as you're disallowing the state the tax-income. Can even go to jail in Germany. Also the reason oil for heating your house is exactly the same, except for the color. If they find you using that, you're in big trouble. But that all is very offtopic, however it boils (HA!) down to this: I would very much take the Diesel-Car in the case of an apocalypse, simply because fuel is theoretically abundant (as noone's going to rush to your nearest grocerystore to pile up on vegetable oil). Actually have thought about this in the past.
