Please keep it in one topic, alright? Thank you! https://forums.dayz.com/topic/241823-xbox-update-12122018/?page=4

Topic cleaned. Keep your offtopic && bickering to yourselves. Some of you already had their fair share of warnings about this, let's not have it come to this, a'ight?

With due time such lists will appear. But think about how much changes while they're working on it - the list would change more often than they have time writing it.
-
Check this out: And please do read before posting.

I too am not amused. I am just over half your age, yet know how to behave well better than you do.
-
Title changed to something a bit more clear.
-
Merged. Please only open one topic - if you need something moved, have us moderators do it, thank you!
-
Please refrain from opening new topics for the same issue. As far as I am aware, you are going to have to install Steam or SteamCMD to download the serverfiles properly.

I too think it's cool. Thank you for your input.

As it was a problem with XBox live (as stated by the Service/Support page I posted) and this topic got a bit out of hand, I will lock this now. I can understand the frustration when one can't play, but please do keep it civil, thank you!

This is not related to DayZ, it is an XBox problem: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

There is no one vendor I can recommend. But renting a windows server is no different than renting a linux server. If you do not have experience with Windows Server, I recommend actually renting a "normal" game server - that way you don't have to tinker with the server setup and have to keep the game updated. And if you would just rent a single Windows Server instance to host DayZ on that, it would not be cheaper than renting a standalone DayZ Server.
-
No, not at this time. Take a moment and read the pinned topic:
-
It really depends on what you're trying to achieve. When you've already got everything working, the next step would be to rent yourself a Windows-VM / dedicated server from any of the vendors out there. When you have RDP-access, the setup process is the same as on your local machine.

If you cannot add anything of value, then don't. Thank you.

While I do not have experience with this, I would expect the server-tickrate to go down, resulting in lags on the client side as well - maybe even to the point where the infected AI may become sluggish. Disclaimer: Do not have experience with DayZ SA, just a moderator.

Ein freundliches Hallo in die Runde, da dies ein englischsprachiges Forum ist, bitte nur auf Englisch posten, um sicherzustellen, dass alle verstehen, was vor sich geht. Danke! Please stick to English on here, thank you!

You can use batch files to automate the updates, including shutting down the server automatically at night time, meaning you don't have downtime for anyone playing on the server.
-
Did you read the curren status report? There's plenty of information in there.
-
Weird shxt you've encountered whilst playing.

Did you try by reading threads on the forum? I'm pretty sure there's plenty stories around. ;-) -
Well, for one you could start sharing your bans if you have anyone. You would be able to build on that and have the list grow.

Working fine for me. Anyone? -
Thank you for your suggestion. Please use a more descriptive title next time. Changed title from "Hey Developers"
-
Either this, or you set up a simple .cmd to restore your settings after an update - seeing as you're already automating using the SteamCMD, I can't see that this would be an issue for you. :-)

It would help immensely if you could create an issue in the feedback tracker: https://feedback.bistudio.com/project/view/2/ Thank you!
