I am currently supersampling the game as well, completely on purpose to have it look better. And I ended up with a game that actually runs smooth, looks good and all of that even though my system is entirely AMD-based. Duh.

You do not install the Beta-Patch anymore, you will have to install everything using Steam, thus a Beta-Patch installation is not required anymore. Simply follow tehse steps to be able to play DayZ Mod: Download ARMA 2 from Steam Launch ARMA 2 Download ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead from Steam Launch ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead Download ARMA 2: DayZ Mod from Steam Launch ARMA 2: DayZ Mod No extra steps required. It is now mandatory to use the Steam-Version of ARMA 2. Nothing else will work.

People know how to get the old versions. If you're smart enough to host a Vanilla DayZ Mod Server these days you're smart enough to get older versions of DayZ Mod. It's not like it's a secret. The nostalgic feeling doesn't have to do with the version you were playing, it's just nostalgia - nothing more.

Epoch isn't supported by us. We made sure our Mod is available on Steam so that it can be distributed safely. DayZCommander won't fetch any new servers, it will work fine if you have an old install with preexistent servers. But you're going to be screwed as soon as you're trying to serach for new ones.

DayZCommander is obsolete and won't work anymore. The only thing supported is the Steam Version of all these three: ARMA 2ARMA 2: Operation ArrowheadARMA 2: DayZ ModPlease note, that ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: OA have to be Steam-versions to be able to play these days. If you download the Mod through Steam you will have no problems whatsoever. You will need both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead to be able to play DayZ Mod. You can acquire them separately or buy "Combined Operations" or the complete pack of all AddOns, which includes them both. Just make sure you acquire them on/for Steam, as without that you will not be able to play DayZ Mod. Moved
