Why exactly do you not want BattlEye again?

BattlEye is requiered to play DayZ online.

I can't see anything in that picture of yours, as it's too small. How exactly are you launching the Mod and what server are you joining? To join a server, launch DayZ Mod from Steam and click on "Multiplayer" in the menu after it opened. Then click on "Filter" at the bottom and make sure it's set to search in the "Internet". In the filter, search for 388 and tell me if you can join.

On there, search for servers that are running 1.8.3, as that is the current version at this point. Alternatively, click on "Remote" and fill out the exact IP and Port of servers you already know. What do you mean? It's not only rude, it's against the terms of service and thus will result in your server being taken down. It merely doesn't make sense to report on here, as we Forum-peeps don't have power over them.

Just remember to read the stickied threads about this. It doesn't help anyone to post this information here. And when you do the appropriate thing and report them to the serverhosts they will be taken down.

Did you allow BE to pass through your firewall / AntiVirus? If not, try disabling both for a short amount of time and try again. Moved to Mod-Section.

As far as I am aware this is the same thing for a Private Hive. The persistence data stays (tents, backpacks, etc.) - but the characters are different.
