If you find a solution that will work first try, doesn't crash and will actually do what it's supposed to do you'll beat them all. Sometimes it's that easy. -

Are there people standing aorund them? It sometimes says, that there are people within 5 meters, even though it's more like 15. So people sometimes really need to get out of the general area until you can pick it up. When 2 people stand there right next to each others staring at the same Engine trying to pick it up it obviously won't work as that's the way it's supposed to be.

Depends on how many people play on your server, really. If there are always >30 people, you don't really need it and it might make it lag for some people. But if it's not really populated you might as well keep it to make the environment a bit like a crowded server would be. -

That's usually what you need to do and the best part - incase you're wondering - it will disable freelook again when you get out of the vehicle. That's quite lovely, as you don't end up running in a straight line like a retard looking in all directions with no control over your character.

Considering you've been alone on the server it must have been the AI because you trapped them in a locked server with noone to shoot.

You can normally just shoot them out of the driver's seat. Or just blow the tires. When they can't move they can't do anything. And if someone gets out, pop him.

That weapon is utterly useless and as long as noone has an interested because of good memories or just for the fun of it, noone's really going to trade for it I'm afraid.

Depends on how desperate you personally. Surely a highendweapon or NVG's aren't really a fair trade, but there are other things people are searching for constantly. What about Antibiotics - Backpacks (the British Assault Pack is 18 Slots and I really really like it, yet not too hard to find and worth keeping in a tent). When you're lucky sometimes giving people food / drinks / medical supplies is enough to get you a tent, as it takes up 3 slots and casual players want to get rid of them anyway.
