Having several hundred cars on 225 km²? Maybe. All repaired like they usually are on those server? Definitely not. Autorefuel and unlimited fuel? Definitely nein. It's not the fact that there are that many vehicles, it's the fact that those servers usually have them all fully repaired and fully fueled with all the jazz that doesn't even require you to have a brain to keep it running.

I may have arrived a bit late on this, but I am I the only one being seriously concerned about the fact that the OP says he doesn't want anyone to use his custommade additions but the Origins-peeps? I do still remember the discussion that was brought up multiple times already about Origins using DayZ-code without asking for a license while they're actually selling what they're claiming is their licensed version of a mod? I mean, yeah - at the end of the day we all want a bit of recognition and maybe a bit of money out of what we've been working for so long, but Jesus Christ - without Vanilla DayZ you wouldn't exist in the first place. I have never understood how they got away with so many servers and people playing it and people paying for it. TL;DR: You don't want people using your stuff because they didn't license it and make it exclusive to people selling stuff they didn't license? Nice one. Hell - do we even know it's the actual guy that created those things in the first place?

As long as you don't drop below it's perfectly fine in ARMA-terms. 30 FPS is more than others get staring at the floore in the woods nowhere near anything. Don't worry about it. -

Even though I share your experience so far I can say that the crafting in it's current state most likely just a test being run live. We all know there's not much use to it - I mean. 6 items to craft 1 Bandage? Really? But it shows us what is possible and what we can do and how it can be developed in the future. What you see happening there is the very first stage of what we will see in the future with the mod. Give it a bit of time. I personally really like the way it's heading and can't think of any drawbacks of the craftingsystem being implemented.

What are you playing? Vanilla DayZ? Epoch? Which server? Those are all variables we don't know and even though you give us a lot of information about your computer there's barely any use in that, as we need to know thos other things. If it's Vanilla DayZ (Currently 1.8.0.3) and on every server you join you have a problem. If it's on a specific server and for example on Epoch it is very likely to happen to you. -

And you're definitely not going to be nuked in the middle of nowhere. That's what made DayZ almost die. But you'll still have a couple of foulplayers - just not in the frequency or severity like in the mod. -

As far as I know you currently can't have both genderselection and spawnpointselection at the same time. So female skins might be redundant at this point anyway, if you can't be a female.

The tents disappear because you don't actually build them when you do not complete the action. If you log out to the lobby it's just there temporarily, but isn't fed to the database. That's why it disappears on restart. Yeah, you can access the gear, but it won't save. Like I say: Our servers work and have a custom-antihack where it actually allows you to build a tent and complete the animation.

Because TMW originally is US-based and it's the middle of the day there right now and a tuesday, which isn't exactly peak. ;-)

Oh, the SVD Camo is the new FN FAL. I remember the FAL being at every single choppercrash and atleast 2 or 3 times. While the SVD Camo was 0.1% at the barracks. In 1.7.6.1 (I think it was?) that changed and the SVD Camo is all over the place and FAL is the rarest weapon in game ;-)

I have yet to find Rangefinders. Never ever found them on a Publichive-Server. I have found about 4-5 pairs of NVG's at choppercrashes, though. That mainly has to do with the fact, that I never go to NWAF, but actually raid quite a bit of choppercrashes.

It depends on the server. Some server have old serverfiles, but are running the newest patch (1.8.0.3). This has to do with the servers having customscripts and the owners didn't bother reinstalling all their scripts to the newest .pbo's. If you want to try a public hive server where it's actually working, try either "US 1503" or "EU2419". If you encounter any problems on there feel free to contact me personally.

I carry either M4A1 CCO SD or DMR. Why the DMR? Because in TMW there's actually something like bodyguards, because we need them. -

And why are you running both Sarge-AI and DZAI? You can always edit one or the other to fit your likings, no need to put extra (useless) stress on the server. -

Meant players, sorry about that. Don't know what you're talking about, as I used to host EU-Servers and none of them have been online more than they have been offline. I haven't experienced any downtime-issues with other hosts I've tried since and it has been undeniably happening a lot and caused more downtime I could have imagined possible. But I will remain as you wish and not keep this discussion alive, as it might derail if continued.
