EU -> SA and vice versa usually never is a problem. Should usually be around 100 and that's perfectly reasonable.

I don't think you understand the scope of what we're doing with the mod.. We can't go out and record weaponsounds here. We're working for free in our free time and wouldn't even have the funds to be able to do anything close to that. And if you want to use a weapon-soundpack. There's JSRS and some servers allow it already, no need to implement it into the mod (as it fucks with Zombie-AI as well)

This is actually something you'll have to keep in mind for DayZ: having lower settings doesn't actually make you benefit performancewise. I am running 2560x1080 and have the game supersampled at 200% resolution and I get constant playable 50 FPS. Try it out yourself. Along with some performance tweaks available on the Internet (.cfg edits and launchparameters)

The trick here is not to actually pick the server by location - but by ping. No need for extreme googling, just make sure you have a fairly low ping.

Simple fix: Don't use DayZCommander. At this point it's not been updated for about 1 year now.
