Maybe this will help you. If anyone would actually have wanted to help you it would have been an easy thing to find this, as it's very possible to do. Maybe you should concentrate on helping out giving advice instead of getting into arguments noone is interested in. If you guys have a problem with something there's always the PM-system you can use.

Where did you find that? Heard it somewhere from someone who has read that on some forums? Arma 2 Clientsides is running just fine, I never had performance-issues on regular ARMA 2 or OA. The real problem is when it comes to serverhosting, it's very resource-intense. I never had problems, even when recording ARMA. I can record DayZ with about 40-50 FPS and ARMA 60 FPS and my PC was not even around 1,000€.

I get >60 FPS on any vanilla servers, but I have a problem getting close to 20-25 FPS on any Epoch-Server. That's the bane of Epoch. There's nothing you can do about that.

When your character currently has a femaleskin, yes. But that would be like that - no matter if there's genderselection or not. However - if you die you will be stuck with a male skin, as you can't select anything else.

He's talking about Epoch, as you come back as a Z after being killed while infected. However - this thread is about DayZ, not about Epoch.

As far as I'm aware the genderselection was taken out, because there are no female skins like for the ghillisuit anyway. And with Patch 1.8 we have spawnpointselection and you can only have either spawnpointselection or genderselection anyway. That's why it was disabled - to make space for the spawnselection.

I don't know what you're all getting in a discussion here. Vanilla DayZ with a Server restarted within the past couple of hours gives me usually 60 FPS around major cities. I would most likely get more, but as I have VSync on I don't. Obviously, if you're playing on a heavilly modded and / or Epoch-Server you will not be as likely to get anywhere around that. I still see people complaining about performance while in reality R4Z0R49 has done a lot to improve performance. You should try Vanilla some time. It's performing extremely good since 1.8

What does it actually say? Does it give you the message, that you are globally banned or does it simply say, that you are banned? From what I understand you have your own server. Have you tried other servers? Reinstalling will not help you solving that issue, as a ban is handled serverside. If it's only your server you have successfully banned yourself. Congratulations!

You should have knocked out, as there was no use i you being logged as you knew you were knocked out. Just so you remember it incase it happens again. :)

In Germany the use of the Swastika is for obvious reasons illegal and can only be used in an educational background. And I would like to see - if something like that would be introduced - that it would be against the rules to use (on any game anyway). But now back to the topic: any sort of material that would make advertisement for groups like our medic organisation possible would be a nice thing to see. I quite like the idea of seeing a huge red cross on the Cherno industrial buildings or having tons of notes spread across the servers for that matter.

Hmmm. Interesting. You keep talking about the entire community getting money out of their projects using other peoples content. What I find interesting about this is that you are actually the one using the word "Donations" all the time. The moneyflow going on in between members of this community is mostly to keep servers and websites running. I highly doubt that anyone will get thousands and thousands of moneys out of the donations or have anything left to use for themselves. In reality they're not providing a service you would pay for and get money for it. They get donations to have their (test-) servers, Teamspeaks and websites running and don't get anything for their personal use out of the donations. The only ones I have heard of actually making proper money and not living off of donations to have their servers running are the peeps from Origins. But it appears you have sold your soul to them already - so why are you bothering us? EDIT: I am running tons of servers and I manage the TMW-Servers on my own and they are still running, because people donate towards them. I personally have never gotten anything out of it. If you want to prove a point you can send me money, vilas. I need it anyway.

It's funny how this thread has been around forever and I haven't made a single post in here yet. I was catching up and saw quite a bit of faces I recognise, I hope I don't get lost, but mzltv was the first one I recognised, yet there are so many others that aren't even active anymore. I myself am the Head-Administrator of the Trusted Medics of the Wasteland and it was funny to see Doctor Wasteland, M.D.'s post in here as well as so many other medics that have been around even before I got an official part of TMW. I also am a Developer and therefore proud member of the staffteam of MustyGaming. I have come so far and I have the feeling like I need to give so many things back to this community, as DayZ has ruined all other games for me while it's not only one game - there's so many things and mods to explore within the worlds of DayZ - even though vanilla publichive will always be my choice.

Old bug and has always been there. When flying in a LB you should always remember not to parachute out - if you want to keep the heli.

It's funny because it actually says that you're allowed to kick for it. And that's exactly what happened there. You are also allowed to ban someone, even though it's not suggested. But you've been given your warnings with the kick. If you did infact run your own servers you should know what items are allowed ingame and which aren't. If you don't know that you're a terrible admin either way and therefore you deserved the kicks even more. And you don't tell me something about serverhosting, I'm running 7 servers on my own plus helping out with the ones MustyGaming has.

Easy one. That's why. 3480 is a vanilla server and the AS50 is not even in the game. And what is an SDM4? Maybe you should make sure not to use banned weapons before you're yelling "ABUSE!11", while the server is actually one of the best run vanillaservers out there.
