If I remember correctly I heard rocket saying it's going to be performing about the same as the mod. Shouldn't be too far off.

It doesn't surprise me. A lot of people will not be able to play it. It only just released 1.5 hours ago (or so?) and the servers are filling up already. Only the ones with fast internet are playing already. I wouldn't have been able to play it right now with myinternet. Would take hours to download. -

I want to survive. That's how I started with the mod. Mostly playing alone only minding my own business staying hidden all the time. I will live in the forest. Or possibly green mountain radiotower.

The clientside performance isn't optimised yet, as rocket has stated in his streams. So it ispossible that the FPS will drop below 20 from time to time. Atleast that's what it does for me. But there's a thread about this already and it contains the mimimum power you need to have, if that gives you something to work with.

In the beginning of the mod it was only trusted hosters and very restricted. What I was trying to say: Don't run around not even an hour after release screaming for the files. It will come eventually. As usual: patience is the key.

We're not very keen on scripters on here, though Standalone might be a different thing. But I highly doubt that you're going to be banned, as there's hardly a chance to track it. -

Was just playing regularly on a server and all of a sudden 1,000 player joined. Then I heard screaming on TS and I checked reddit - as they were faster as the forums - again. <_< -

It is 23€ and I remember ARMA 3 being 25€ on ALPHA release. It is going to be more expensive once it gets to Beta / full release. Arma 3 was 45 when fully released, if I remember correctly. So - it is already discounted for being alpher.

It really depends on what you're playing. Are you playing DayZ? Or are you playing Epoch? If so, it doesn't surprise me. How's the server run? Are there loads of customscripts on that server? These are all variables that change a lot about the equation.
