You have nothing to base that on other than experience, though. It's also possible, that the sprinting speed has changed instead of the actual size, thus making it appear so for you. :) I wouldn't worry about it, as the sprinting wears you out quite quickly and that's why it might be possible it appears smaller for you. -

Seeing as you're from the UK it is pretty dark right now anyway. One thing I know for sure: if you come back in 12 hours it will be better. :) Be surprised. Test things out. Discover stuff. That's what DayZ is all about. :)

I got a global ban about a year and a half ago on the mod, will I have it on standalone?

Bans for ARMA 2 are controlled by BattlEye, not Steam. You're going to be fine. Don't try again, though. -
Go to "Video" -> "Rendering" and change "Rotation Blur" and "Bloom" and see if that changes then.

Was that changed? Was able to do that the other day.

Go to "Configure" -> "Controls" and change "Smoothing" and "Aim Deadzone" with the slider by sliding it all the way to the left.
