What I meant with 3rd party software is Teamspeak or Skype or anything that works for you. You can't stop people from using that and I don't think you should force people to continuously transmit through their mcrophone. The reason for that is fairly simple: we had a bug where people would transmit serverwide and most of the time it was only them talking to their family, which is pretty annoying and I would hate to see a "feature" like that.

Mentioned it somewhere else earlier. It has happened to me numerous times today where my mate's bodies would disappear after they died. just because you can't respawn in a normal fashion and when you exit out the server the body will despawn. Nothing you can do about it and not to be seen as combatlogging. I will either way.

That has been suggested numerous times already and I don't think it's a good idea to force it onto people. It's their good right to use 3rd party programs.

That's a leftover from the ARMA side of things I'm pretty sure. It doesn't mean anything and will happen if you're being hurt in any way - may that be Zombies or losing health by not eating / drinking. The moaning will disappear when you relog.

Are you only checking military buildings? I have found loads of Mosin's in wrecked cars and residential buildings, but none in military buildings so far.

That's exactly what I have experienced. I didn't know what the alcohol was used for, as I never found a bottle before. And only after using it it gave me the indicator, that I'm sick. After using it twice and about 15 minutes later it gave me the green "My wounds are clean now." I don't exactly know if I wouldn't have been better off not using it alltogether, as I felt I forced the sick-status - but atleast I'm weelfed, healthy and not sick anymore. :)

I have clouds disabled, because the FPS was horrendous for me about 1-2 weeks back. Since then it has improved massively, but I haven't turned them back on since - so it can't be caused by that, as I have the stutters as well. Added to that: it appears to be some sort if syncinc-issue, as I experienced the wind / trees moving would change when it's done being at 0 FPS for a second.

I have heard the same thing from other people I have been playing with. Fortunately I didn't die, because from what I've seen the bodies disappear when disconnecting as well. -

Anyone else getting this error message what starting Dayz?

Try verifying your DayZ-Files by rightclicking DayZ in your Steam library and choose "Properties". Go to "Local Files" and "Verify Files" (don't know the exact one, as mine's German ;) ). If that doesn't fix try a reinstall and see if it still happens. (Only applies when you really want to get rid of it, as it takes quite a while to redownload. -
Use it. Am doing all day, still not enough. There's too many. :o
