Even though it's very noble of you there is no recipe that will guarantee that you're safe. That's sadly the way it works, as other will always try to kill you over gear. The easiest and safest way would be to offer your help and provide a way to contact you. Steam works, but a voiceprogram is always better to make sure people aren't trying to backstab you, as you can listen to them. If you need a Teamspeak server you can hang out and survive with other people try the Trusted Medics of the Wasteland Teamspeak: ts.tmwdayz.com Feel free to join any "Open Channel" and group up with other friendly people, as we're only running around to help people and aid as many as we can.

Don't know what the default is for that slider. But it doesn't really matter, as it's only a matter of preference how you set it up.

I do realise that you could do that, if it were an M4 that wouldn't fit sideways. But I was talking about a 2.5m long Mosin - as it has a Bayonet attached. You can turn it all the way you want, you'll not be able to turn that thing around.

I really do like RP and I enjoy it. Loads of jeans were stolen from people I held up and I did not kill a single innocent person, because they all fall for the RP. But if it doesn't work you still have the knowledge that it will kill them anyway. But I guess you just have been unlucky.

The thing is that they will die then anyway, so if you're really going for it you know that anyway and you can be happy about it, as they will be punished for it.
