After everyone pretty much knows how simple it can be to script in the mod they were trying to jump on the SA and do the same. They literally wanted to do the same and were trying to inject scripts from the ARMA 2 Engine. They are trying hard and as long as the anticheat isn't activated there won't be many fixes. But eventually it will be better and it really isn't bad at the moment. -
That's why I was thinking it would be a problem regarding the update of the playerposition. The DB can't keep up and as soon as you're outside the bubble you get reverted, as you're not supposed to be there. Could be completely wrong, though. Longterm-desync was happening in the mod and I wouldn't know how it would change much on SA on release. It will be fixed eventually, but right now I believe it's just there.

We don't know anything about that, but I have heard multiple things. Maybe coming from a shipwreck and that's why everyone is on the shore? And that's why you don't really know anything about the landscape and have to find a map in order to be able to find anything. I do like it the way it is, currently.

It's always possible that it is a failed antiteleport-mechanic, as it appears to be when exiting the general radius of what I imagine the networkbubble to be. If it's not being registered that you were actually legitimately running that distance it might just reset you to the earlier point. For now I have stopped sprinting. ;)

Hmmm. I don't feel like that would help, to be honest. I usually have problems losing them and the only thing that seems to be working is to simply keep running and lose them like that. That would dramatically change when they're faster or even faster then you. Might even encourage zombielogging, when they would be faster.

I have experienced the same last night. Seems to be caused by sprinting "too fast" and pretty much resets your character. The only thing that works for me to reset it is to close the game using the taskmanager and rejoin. Remember: don't sprint with your fists up - it's not meant to be that quick. :O

I am fairly certain that they simply have not added the possibility to combine 2 Stanag mags with Duct-Tape yet. It wouldn't make sense to find that many just on the floor like it currently is. In my oppinion it makes sense that they will add it later, that you have to actively combine two mags with Duct-Tape, they just have the model already, the crafting itself is not implemented yet. -
SA servers start lagging quite badly when they're up for multiple days. And as most servers don't offer the access to create autorestarts it happens a lot, that servers are up for multiple consecutive hours.

Do you think DayZ will become compatible with Mac at some point?

There are plans for it to be ported over to other systems. I have heard of Linux (because of Steam, I think), nextgen consoles and so on. But I don't think there's anything definite on Mac yet. -

I didn't want to push you away - however a thread like this will hardly do anything, as many people won't even read it and especially when they think it's a great idea to have something like this ingame, they will just ignore it. So far rocket has made good decisions to keep it in a style I personally think it fits the world of DayZ. I have faith it will stay that way. -

Have you actually seen anything like banditskins or heroskins in SA? No - as there aren't any. Just because some people want to have it doesn't mean it will actually make it to the game. -
I don't think you guys understand that there's still testing going on. Rocket has stated it himself, that there's still closed testing to test new patches before releasing them to public. These things were done before and they're trying out different things to test serverside performance. Have some faith - the teams is not just sitting there doing nothing.

I have heard the Painkillers change the blurry vision. Also - have you tried relogging at all? Did you disable your "Postprocessing" in your Video-Options? -
Configure --> Video --> Textures or Configure --> Video --> Quality Try those seetings out. My guess would be to up "Objects" and "Terrain" in the Quality Tab.

That is exactly it and you need to make sure you completely disable it. That solves the problem.

I was actually quite disappointed when I was running around trying to kill a rabbit with my fireaxe. I was running for about 5-10 minutes straight and ended up not knowing where I am. Good times. :'-)

It is a known issue. Have you tried disabling your clouds alltogether? -
I would like me one of those pressvests. It should be easy enough to acquire and shouldn't be rarer than all the military-grade clothing. That is what needs balancing in my oppinion.

I personally think it needn't matter how he's acquired it. What counts for me is that it is possible in a sense that ammunition in no sense is rare. I personally am carrying around 120 or so rounds for my Mosin, even though I will never use them and I know for a fact that I will end up dead with those rounds still in my box not having it used it, ever. Ammo should be quite rare, and that's not the case currently.
