Even though I have to agree with you it's only fair to say that they're doing all they can.

I was put into the position that my squad was pinned down by two snipers. While they had no problems whatsoever I had that annoying problem where I couldn't shoot my Mosin, as the only thing I hit was the hillside directly in front of my face, even though I was laying on a downslope and my barrel was nowhere near the ground. Then there is the problem where it took you ages to reload that thing while your character is wiggling about and you can't move for about 4-5 seconds. That really put me off and I stepped away from using the Mosin - even though I liked the idea of it and the feeling of running around with an old, single-action rifle. Why not? But I am mainly using the M4 now, as that doesn't have that many problems and is actually useful, as most encounters are close range anyway for me. (As I'm hardly put into the position that I have to snipe.) As long as you're not using out for MAINLY midrange you're better off with the M4.

DO IT NOW! Well - it doesn't really hurt playing other games. It's not the mod - you don't have to chek up on your camp every day - absolutely nothing changes when you don't log in. Your charater has been deleted anyway and you would have to start over. If you really want to play DAyZ: The HumbleBundle is still out there and it would only cost you 6$ to get to play the mod. :)

What is that video even supposed to tell me? That he is a terrible pilot? That he has a terrible microphone / set up? I can barely understand a word, thus making the video completely pointless. Apart from the fact that it's obviously not even Standalone, though the title wants to make you believe exactly that.

If you provide anything to support that you can issue a report and it will be looked into almost immediately. Those servers will most likely be blacklisted very soon.

Put rice in the pot, add water, pot on stove, turn fire on. You can alternatively add flavours to your liking - bouillon cubes work nicely for me. They add a special kind of flavour. Don't cook the rice too long. Do you have vegetables? They would be nice to go with your rice.

You can see it extremely good. As far as I know it still shines through objects, which makes it extremely visible everywhere and even through houses and trees. If you want to be stealthy don't use the flashlight if you don't need to (I mean: don't use it all the time - this is no free pass to abuse gamma.)

We can just reenact that on our own, don't need the book.

:D What are you even on about? I was merely informing you, that there currently are no servers - I was trying to save you from the hassle of downloading the experimental build and then realising you can't do anything with it. Calm down and read posts before you reply to them.

As many other threads already suggested you currently can not test it. I suggested you use the searchfunction prior to posting in your other thread already. Why are you ignoring my suggestion like this? Read up on it and use the searchfunction.

Simply keep playing the game like you normally would and don't use the experimental branch, as there currently are no servers for that.

No, you don't need a code. I don't suggest using it at the moment, though. You won't find any servers. The patch is delayed and you'll find no servers.

How do you usually launch your game? Do you have it on Steam? Do you use DayZCommander? What are your launchparameters for the game - both in DayZCommander if you use it and Steam if you use that? To check your launchparameters on Steam rightclick Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead and go to properties. You should find the button "Launchparameters" or "Additional Launchparameters" there somehwere. On DayZCommander click on the "Settings" and scroll down - you should have "Additional Launchparameters" at the bottom somewhere.

What are you filtering for? Did you click the "internet" tab in the serverbrowser? Did you set your filters correctly (also check your ping). If it doesn't work, try opting out the experimental branch again and go back to the normal retail version.

If you rent your own server and actually paid for it you will get login-information to log in to an Administratorpanel allowing you to atleast change the timezone of the server and the branding of the server (not the complete servername). You should also be able to Start / Stop your server. Make sure your Server is actually started - and if you do not get an Adminpanel along with your rented server I wouldn't bother staying with that hostingcompany, as that's the least thing you should be able to do.

You should not have Taviana activated when trying to play Chernarus. Make sure you have it disabled when you're trying to play Chernarus, as that is what is conflicting, as mentioned in your errormessage. When playing Chernarus, the only thing you need to have installed for ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead is the beta-version and DayZ 1.8.0.3

Because your post didn't make sense at all. Well - that's nothing Dean Hall has to do with - that's your serverhost. Name and shame if you paid for that product. But nothing we could do about it.

What exactly have you tried? Have you tried using: -window or have you tried pressing: ALT + Numpad ENTER ?

Yes. Every item you have on you has a condition it's in. If you're hit by anything that would cause damage it takes the condition of the item that was it - if someone hits you in the chest it actually takes the condition of the vest and not for example your jeans and then proceeds from there. This means if your vest is ruined anyway it won't absorb the damage. If it is in pristine condition however, it will. The itemdamage is actually done before the damage to your character is done, so it always checks for items to be hit before inflicting the damage to you.
