Edited Title to be more suitable. On DayZ: Epoch there is a weightsystem, making people pass out if they're overburdened. Finding extremely heavy stuff (funnily enough Tuna) always worked wonders when filling up their backpacks.

As you say you were streaming at the time you should have the footage of that. As long as you're not showing how to hack or show anything specific. You can post your experience in the dedicated topic for the "current hacking status in SA" or contact Sable, a BattlEye-Dev, who is very active on these forums with a PM explaining him the situation - if you still have the evidence.

How and where to report servers can be found here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/158966-dayz-standalone-server-hosting-rules-server-reporting/ As far as I know the normal restart-cycle for SA servers is three hours.

The reason why it was locked is, because there are official announcements regarding this, including a statement that there is no way for the players to fix it. It's a serverside-thing. Here a topic from rocket: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/167343-servers-with-connection-issues-to-central-hive/ Alternatively this: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/176164-character-wipes-still-happening/ or this: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/181949-logged-in-stuffs-gone/ You may want to note as well, that you remain in the server for 30 seconds after logging out, which is why it's important to find a nice and safe spot to log out in.

What do you think full modding support will do to DayZ
kichilron replied to Jex's topic in General Discussion
No, as I have stated in my post: -
Where exactly are shadows a very important feature when there's the option to turn them off, thus eliminating the problems it was creating it in the first place? Why work on shadows when there are people all over the forums screaming "fix loot" / "fix zombie" / "ololol shit gmae!"?
-
And I posted in your thread, that there is this topic: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/180399-waiting-for-host-session-lost-lag-and-desync-since-last-patch/ There are plenty of topics about it already, please make sure to read them first.

Seems like it was successful then and the Zombies are how they're supposed to be in a Zombie-survival. This is not a bug, it's on purpose. Fire a gun - you will have Zomberinos on you.

Weapon / item in hand up/down like a whore's draws?
kichilron replied to -MadTommy's topic in General Discussion
Have you tried a different server? Way back I have heard there are naughty people that can make you do that. -
Art Of War Central, Closing down.. And how they semi-screwed me over.
kichilron replied to preacherlr's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Grammar errors in an official company announcement. <_< I haven't even done anything with their servers, nor have I heard of their particularly good customer support. I am fairly surprised they have been in business that long if they don't go about advertising themselves. Just my thought, though. -
If they are going to making everyone roll around with a fire axe locked and loaded 100% of the time
kichilron replied to captainvette2112's topic in General Discussion
If you're just going to rant on about an Early Access Alpha I shall go ahead and lock this thread. Maybe it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Read before posting. Rather hilarious how much people expected from a relatively small studio, such as Bohemia. Maybe should stick to AAA-titles, because they're always working. On full release. Without crashes. After months. Battlefield. -
I know, I was just being pedantic about the wording, as it's not KoS in this case. ;)

Whilst we do embrace contructive criticism, we don't like rant-threads. There is a topic dedicated to Zombie-Feedback for the current build - if you feel like you have something constructive to say about them, go ahead and post in there. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/182234-post-patch-zombie-feedback/ Locked.

What do you think full modding support will do to DayZ
kichilron replied to Jex's topic in General Discussion
Just don't, then. "not good" would have sufficed. Also hidden a few comments, that didn't add anything to the discussion. Make sure to stay on topic. /moderatorHat off There is a lot of misinformed posting going in this thread and before I hear another person rambling on about 1,0000,000 vehicle servers, please - OH PLEASE - do some research! Read! Make sure you know what you're talking about! The vehicles, as they were on the mod, were controlled by the server's database, not by scripts, not by fancy mods added to the server. The mods might have come with more vehicles by default, but that's not because of the mod itself, it's because they have changed the database itself and were private hives (all of them). Now - this isn't going to happen with the Standalone, simply because Dean has announced that server-hosters will not have access to the database. This is what the shards are for - and the shards will still be hosted and controlled by the DayZ-Team. Not modding brought more vehicles in, it was the private hives, because they had full access to the database, as it was hosted locally, rather than a public-hive. Publichive servers still don't have access to the Database, it's still in R4Z0R49's hands. They can't add more vehicles. If you wish to have vanilla amount of vehicles (42, I think) - go out and find yourself a nice Public-Hive server. /moderatorHat on -
As many people have pointed out previously - it's not necessarily about having an advantage. I personally have constant 60 FPS (even in towns) on ARMA 2 / DayZ Mod with VSync turned on. And I consider my computer being rather powerful. However, for some reason, shadows really do have an immense impact on my performance, making me drop in frames significantly overall plus some stuttering I get from time to time. That is the reason I have shadows disabled on any BIS-game immediately while setting up my Graphics. You can't always chose what you want to have.

If that was Kill on Sight, someone is rather slow. Took SAK a while to kill you on sight (about a few minutes, I suppose?)

What would you do with raw pills, though? Where would you store them and how would you store them? Just put them in your pockets? I do, however, like the idea of being able to switch the pills around from container to container, may that be the correct pills or not. Also gives you a thrill when picking up a box of painkillers. You never know if they're actually painkillers.

TLS TheLoneSurvivors Epoch Server Napf (Tonnes Of mods! Zero Lag!) | Starting Loadout | Suicide | Extra Barracks | Custom Industrial Estate | Call E
kichilron replied to TheLoneSurvivors's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Moved to "Mod Servers & Private Hives" And I have hidden your other thread. Please make to only post once and then in the correct section. -
If anyone is breaking the rules it will be dealt with accordingly. If it's just, because you disagree with someone's statements or playstyles, there's nothing the Forum Team can or will do about it. We can't force people to play a certain way. It's a service for the patients and an experience for the medic. It's about the feeling. You should try it some time.

Server crashing and battleye not working
kichilron replied to ukko's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Already responded to your PM, but if it's fixed disregard my reply. Good to heard it's all working now. -
Server crashing and battleye not working
kichilron replied to ukko's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
If you think it's BattlEye, try updating your "BEServer.dll" on your server from here. http://battleye.com/download.html Your ARMA2OASERVER.rpt would also be very helpful, if you could send that to me in a PM. -
Are they ever going to fix zombie AI ?
kichilron replied to JackWestwood's topic in New Player Discussion
Hello and welcome to the forums. :) It is being worked on. You should know how that this is an Early Access Alpha, and these things are very likely. There is nothing left to say other than: it is being worked on. And you can hardly say "Why no fix yet?", as the game's not even been out for 4 months. That is not enough time for an Early Access Alpha to sort something as big as the Zombies out. Take your time and watch these YouTube-Videos in the thread before posting, it will give you a rough idea of what's going on with the Development of DayZ: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/182275-dayz-at-rezzed-2014-dev-sessions-livestream/ The Frameworks have been worked on massively. I started out with not being able to achieve more than 25 FPS, but since it has been changed. I currently have stable 45 FPS. Take a look at this: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154330-possible-fps-enhancer/ I hope this all helped and I shall lock this thread now, as it's been covered multiple times now and I hope you read all of the above before posting a rant-thread next time, as we do not like those around here - constructive cirticism however is very much liked.- 1 reply

Looks quite good and I like endeavours in that direction. Here a ProTip, though: SourceCode for DayZStats available here.

I know it is not ridiculous, it just might sound weird to some.
