A Point against the 10 Minute Body Despawn that ISN'T about running back to get your own gear

The main point is not that you shouldn't be able to loot your own body, it's due to serverperformance - same reason dead Zombies despawn almost immediately. -
The ping-kick is built-in BattlEye by default, just needs to be set. I suppose it's going to be enabled once the desync / lag issues are sorted out.

This is not anything that would fit in the universe of DayZ and won't find its way in the game. When you're shot, you're dead. You won't see the last 10 seconds of your life again in slowmotion to see where you've been killed from and to possibly tell your friends. Locked.

Watch out. Be a little bit nicer. I suggest we're going a little bit back on topic rather than discussing how to and what meta is. Actually, I don't think there's much to save at this point. nogard17, I guess it is bad luck, everybody has that from time to time.

That is enough in some cases. ;) What you can do is to get a friend of yours in the position where you're logging in and have him shoot you. That's the easiest way of a character reset.

There is no need for another thread, as it's been covered a multitude of times, just use the searchbutton to make yourself familiar with it. The latest videos from Rezzed are well worth watching - they contain quite a lot of information about what you're asking. Locked. -
Updates are pushed to experimental every day. Noone said that - hackerproof is something noone can do. Since launch I jumped from average 20 to above 45. Can't really say it's not being worked on. I was going to leave the Rezzed-presentation here, but it seems you've already watched that. It should give you an indication of what's going to come. It will come soon and some of it is applied to experimental already. I will lock this now, as it's an unmerited rant-thread. Feel free to create content that is in a manner of constructive criticism, that is something we can work with. This just seems like an uninformed rant.

Not necessarily. If you were to change that from 24 hours to 3 hours it would mean you would need food 8 times faster, quite possibly meaning you starve within minutes. As far as I know it's being measured in distance (and speed in upcoming builds).

Please note that BattlEye isn't always enabled on experimental servers, which is quite obviously needed for testing purposes. Happens now and then, but then it's better than having BE ban people with falsepositives. -
The last post in this thread was before Standalone was released and is about the mod, which is why it is in the mod-section. Closed.
