    You do not seem to know what you're talking about. And if you don't I suggest not starting an argument, as it would end badly. The experimentals have the new guaranteed messaging in the testing right now. And we have been playing on a server with 127 slots in the closed testing and it wasn't much worse than the 40 slots public servers. It's called experimental for a reason and it's currently being tested. Why don't you just embrace the fact that there are more people coming soon - and not necessarily with worse serverperformance.

    We do not deal with Global Bans here anyway, which is why it is pointless in the first place. You said you contacted them. Ask them. Not us. You won't get much help here, as BE doesn't just ban random people, especially not on ARMA 2 - as it's not a new game. Make sure your computer isn't compromised by third party software (keystealer). As for the rest of the people on these forums: we have rules and you're better off reporting a thread than commenting.

    You can hotwire cars. A hotwiring kit is a lootable item. You can lock cars that you bought at a trader and if you forget to lock them they will lock automatically at serverrestart.

    You actually need to buy and install both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. Just the 200 MB of the DayZ Mod just won't cut it.

    It's sometimes hard to find the sweet spot of being able to pick it up. Never try picking it up in a hurry, it's always better to take a bit of time to get it out.

    I don't see that. Why would anyone abuse their powers if they can come on here and scream "FUCK THIS GAME", mostly in French. Those people wouldn't abuse their powers - even though they're exactly the ones screaming for the full serverfiles to be released.

    You have expressed your feelings about servers and how they're being hosted multiple times already, no need for another topic. Watch it, you'll have to calm down a little in future before coming on the forums and only "contribute" with rantposts.

    You don't have to pay for a server, it's your decision to do so or not. Many other games have hostingrules for servers that are connected to a centralised database and if you want a "player server" you will have to stick to the rules. The DayZ Devs don't make profit from the serverhosting, as they're not the ones providing them. Watch your words and be a bit nicer around here, or you'll get in trouble.

    You should not install it from Steam. That will give you a wrong version. On Steam only install ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. You will have to install the Beta manually, for example using DayZCommander.

    To try it out you can disable both your antivirus and the firewall for now and see if it solves your problem. If it doesn't, it's not that anyway. EDIT: Oh, and please don't create a new topic every day, it's better to stick to an existing one.

    I personally wouldn't ever go near any of those smokestacks, knowing too well it will kill me one way or the other. If it's not the ladders it's because I turned around up top and get slingshotted into space. Sankt Pauli

    Hello there and welcome to the forums, make sure your AntiVirus or Firewall isn't blocking the BE-Connection. From BattlEye's support: Client not responding: This can happen if the server's or your connection times out for quite a while or breaks up completely. A common solution is to update your modem/router's firmware. Also, make sure that you aren't running "Cucusoft Net Guard" which is incompatible with BE. Other than that, please ensure that there are no problems with your internet connection (you might want to contact your ISP).

    Depends on the standpoint, really. I have never learned to hate bandits as I take precautions and don't actually hang around big cities. Stick to the woods and you're fine and don't have to deal with people. The people don't have to change, your playstyle might have to.

    Always make sure that your version matches the exact version of the server, otherwise it either won't work or you'll see the weirdest bugs occur.

    Are we actually talking about the mod here? If so, what mod are you playing? Have you tried different mods? Vanilla DayZ (currently 1.8.0.3) is fairly well optimised and most servers out there that restart regularly will give you good FPS. Report back.
