Are you running it through DayZCommander? If so, what version does it say in your mainmenu after launching? When you get that error, do not close the game. Go to the Main Menu and tell me which versions it shows you for these: ARMA 2ARMA 2: Operation ArrowheadDayZ

See, now someone say again we immediately lock topics if they were to say something bad about the gamedevelopment. Please understand, however, that the mapdevelopers aren't necessarily the ones that develop code and functions for the game itself. I don't even know if they would be able to do that. This prior statement of mine does not mean, that they're worse people or staff for the game development, it just means it's not their expertise. They don't need to stop gamedevelopment to add new towns.

I am sad that that is your oppinion about this matter. However, there is nothign anyone here could do about that. You will have to contact the Steam support and ask for a refund of the game, we can't help you here. Locked.

How do you know it was actually some scripter? Could it not have been someone shooting you from some distance? Also: remind yourself of the rules and post accordingly, especially when posting pictures of disabled children. You are on the very edge with that. Topic cleaned.

Thank you, people, for your constructive input. Moved to Mod section. Restarts on ARMA 2 and DayZ Mod are needed to clean up everything, that's not needed anymore. Unlike other systems, ARMA 2 servers don't really flush any of their unused date, which is why they are extremely fast and potent upon restart, but from that point onwards lose performance and FPS, which also affects the clients. All of this gets removed upon restart. In short: It cleans up dead bodies, Zombies, Loot and all of that. It does, however, not affect the tents / vehicles / buildings. Actually had my computer running for about 14 days straight the other week and didn't mention any performanceloss whatsoever.
