You are on the very edge with that one. Watch it. As for the OP: how do you think you're any better than those so called "cheaters" if you're effectively doing the same by abusing 3rd person to look through solid walls? That abuse of the gamemechanics as well.

If you are trying to play Taviana, you need the files for Taviana, that is correct. But I am also fairly certain that DayZCommander doesn't support Taviana Epoch launching - have you tried an alternative, such as PlayWithSix? It's also always good to go over to the actual Epoch forums to ask there, as you will have a bigger chance of getting an answer.

You need to make sure you're running the correct version and that your files aren't corrupt, as that error pops up if you don't have the correct version of Epoch installed and are trying to join the server. Make sure to try different servers as well and report back if it's still happening.

Make sure that one of you guys is adding a "-port=2320" to your launchparameters, otherwise you're trying to use the same port and you're on the same network - which would not be a good idea. Only one of you adds that to your launchparameters in Steam by rightclicking the game -> Properties -> Set Launch Paramaters. Then you will be fine.

Not necessarily. That's why those are passworded. There are still some servers out there they use for testing, like the one you mentioned there. I wouldn't worry about it too much, especially if it's a devserver.

Have you tried asking at the actual Epoch forums, seeing as that's where your link is from? I personally know almost nothing about building in Epoch, and your chances are bigger you'll find someone that knows over there. -

You do not get banned for playing on your friend's computer - unless he was trying to do some malicious stuff. Which you would have to to make sure he's not doing anyway - meaning you would be responsible anyway. Furthermore: we do not deal with Global Bans around, please contact BattlEye for that.
