    Please do not post rant topics. Blaming the game for getting lost isn't really valid, as that's what the intentions of the game are. If you want to talk with others about the "Kill on Sight" mentality, there are threads about it. Others actually enjoy running for two hours getting lost in the forest. Different people like different games.

Be very careful now, you have sounded extremely hostile towards others (including myself) that just wanted to help you and pointed out there already is a way to show you which type / hive the server is running on. It might change in the future, maybe soon. But there already is the option to sort the list by types - which we pointed out to you. This is infact some sort of filter, meaning it's not completely wrong and can easily be assumed you missed it when reading your first post.

    DayZ Mod 1.8.0.3 Hotfix.

    Thing about that was, that all prior releases were tested and you would think that a lot of people would want to contribute to the testing of a new version to see what's going to come up, but even in bigger communities we struggled to fill the servers past 10 players. Back when I was with the Trusted Medics we had servers up for that as well as MustyGaming has, but it never really picks up as much as it should have. That's the main reason some things just pass by unnoticed.
  6. You need to download the exact version-# and mod the server is running. Easiest way is DayZCommander, as that tells you what you need and if everything is downloaded, the servers you can join will light up white. DayZCommander will also download and install everything for you.

That takes up a major part of their time. Seriously, though: just because Bohemia Interactive made a fair amount of money by releasing it, doesn't mean they didn't have any costs prior to releasing it. What about the paychecks they had to pay prior to the release? That money needs to go back to the company, which is what the slaes are there for. It's not like they're sitting on a huge pile of money, rolling around in it and laughing - while they're doing absolutely nothing. This is not Hammerpoin Interactive after all. Because when the work started on DayZ, the ARMA 3 engine wasn't even finished. Infact, the Alpha wasn't even released at that point. If they were to start based on the Arma 3 engine the game wouldn't be in the state it is now for atleast another year, maybe 1.5 years. Yeah, because they only start working then. They're not working at the moment, at all. Only the release of a so called clone will force them to start working.     When seeing any spam, make sure to report the spambot, preferably the profile, as that way everything gets deleted by us in one sweep. We're working on solutions, but it's not always that easy. Especially considering that that Indian guy knows exactly what he's doing. He most likely knows more about that than actually about "love marriage solutions". Next time, report it. We're taking care of it almost immediately.
  11. Not the missionfile, I don't think. The dayz_server.pbo will have to change, though. It would be best to await confirmation by the serverhost, though - as I have never worked with VertHosting.

  13. Make sure not to use the same dayz_server.pbo, as Dayz.st uses different ones and you won't be able to use them elsewhere.

    For information about vehicles and when they're supposed to be implemented, look at the roadmap. Cars obviously are confirmed. But when, oh when?

    There are a few people around offering help and custom tutorials and walkthroughs around here. I personally do offer server-support and custom help as well, but I don't like Epoch, personally - so your better option might be contacting one of the people offering help on here.   18. See, that's the problem with an Early Access Alpha. People think they are entitled to decide for the developers what needs fixing first. Just because it's not being fixed at the moment doesn't mean that it's never going to be fixed. It might not be as quick as you think it should be, but that doesn't mean that it's being ignored. I personally don't think it's a gamebreaking issue, as it merely won't let you allow to snipe people on long ranges that easily anymore. Doesn't mean it's impossible and doesn't mean it changes much about the core aspects of the game. You seem to fail to acknowledge that, which makes me think you're coming here for the argument itself rather than actually wanting to see things fixed. If I would be in charge or would participate in development in Alpha stage this kind of issue would be all the way down on my list, if I can chose to work on desync, actual core mechanics amongst other things that need to be implemented for the future. At the end of the day that is what an Alpha is all about - it's about adding features, that can then be fixed in Beta. But I assume you'll just ignore this bit again and instead insist on the fact that you want to be able to snipe some people on long ranges for no good reason.
