I want a pet pig. I hear they are great at finding truffles in the woods. oh boy oh boy.. selling tasty truffles for an M4.

hair growth, beards, tans, weight gain or loss (subtle -- depends on your diet -- with no effect of run speed), and cleanliness (attracts zombies your way and repels animals youre hunting, so go hop in the pond and clean off that B.O.). thats all the reward i need.

Teamwork mechanics to give a reason for non lethal interaction.

Are you a statistical analysis specialist for the DayZ development team? How do you "know" this information? The fact is.. you dont know. I know a lot of people who enjoy going around solo. Some want to play with people but they dont have a crew that they can coordinate a play schedule together. Some of my best time in DayZ have been experiences i had with random people. I hope they add many more cooperation things to the game. Like building a barn .. Amish style. -
Reward for those who keep their character alive and healthy

nope to OP ... JUST BEARDS, mullets, and farmers tans. -
I'd like the option to destroy and repair the tracks.

all i need is one of these.

melee is so difficult do to lag. Half the time I click its delayed 1-2 seconds. or he doesnt swing at all. (Same with vaulting) If my character did what i asked when i asked him, i would be fine with the zombie headshot thing.

luckily for you.. changing the color of things is one of the easier things to do. Your wish might come true.

I think you really got this idea from a recent episode of walking dead. :D

Christmas light strings would be great for a big base camp.

I got to "Hey guys.." and got bored. How do you call it a safezone when you I can camp you outside the safezone?? (get you on your way out) -
horses should be that auto-run button that people been asking for. I seen countless movies where a guy is passed out or dead on a horse's back as it walks into town on its own.

I think it should be just water bottles and canteens. Just check the water bottle when you first get it.. thats not too tedious.. Not like you find bottles too often anyways. If its spiked, pour it out and refill with well water. Cans cant be spiked since they are sealed. Although, it would be cool to inject food with a liquid form of sleeping aids into an orange with a syringe.

Have you ever smelled swamp mud!! I'll stick to top soil and a bit of water.

i like the idea, but its kinda pointless until a "water damage" game mechanic is added I would also propose ziplock bags inside the backpack. I dont see the purpose of putting the bag on the outside unless thats the only option. personally I would remove my stuff on the inside and put it in a plastic garbage bag.. I wouldnt want to lose any camouflaging that my backpack might create (nor create a bright white beacon).

Youre hired!.. oh wait, i cant do that. But I thought bug reporting devices would be a must in 2014.. Running off to the forums and pulling up all my info is annoying, thats why i dont do it. But if there was a tool ingame that made it simple; i would of made atleast 5-10 reports already. But Maybe they dont to make it easy.. maybe they dont want to get bombarded with thousands of frivolous reports from a bunch of children who are posting that they cant seem to spawn near their friend or getting KOS'd. Idk, I digress.. your suggestion seems very common sense to me. Im surprised its not implemented.

Players need to make a sound when combat logging
UnarmedCiv replied to infiltrator's topic in Suggestions
Tension should only exist in mutual situations.. he shouldnt have to feel tension if youre running like a little girl and already playing on a different server. I think if a bullet comes within 15 feet of your hit box and you log off/ALT+F4/internet fails within 2 minutes of that... YOU DIE. Plain and simple.. -
no humanity, i shouldnt be a bandit because im protecting myself.. I shouldnt be a hero because im healling my fellow bandits.

theres one somewhere, seen it. and yes, player-induced sounds should be in the game.

Ice Chests. Perishable items -- Blood bags and food spoilage
UnarmedCiv posted a topic in Suggestions
I did a search, and did not find anything on this. As you may know, to keep blood from going bad in the real world, hospitals store blood in cold temperatures. We also use refrigerators at our homes to preserve food for longer than they would last in the open air. All non-canned organic items should be perishable. Blood should not last more than a few hours while not on ice. Raw Meat should not last more than a day while not on ice. Fruits should not last more than 7 day cycles while not on ice. I propose ICE CHESTS to keep blood bags and food fresh: BUT WAIT.. WE NEED ELECTRICITY TO MAKE ICE! ....INCORRECT! I present to you ICE PATCHES: Ice patches can be found in random places throughout Chernarus where you would expect it to stay for long periods of time. Examples: In the shade, random open field, the base of trees, up north, high on mountains, around ponds, etc. HARVEST the ice patches and put them into your ice chest. Heres a pic I edited. Notice the clumped Ice and the melted ice (water puddles) in the ice chest. The ice chest displays its temperature based on the amount of ice inside. Over time, Ice will melt exponentially. The more ice in the chest, the cooler the ice chest, thus the slower the ice melts. Up to 12 hours of ice on a full cooler of ice only (debatable). NOTE: Ice chests do not prevent spoilage, only slows it. NOTE 2: This proposal will CHANGE many items into perishable items. This will make DayZ even harder than it is now. Discuss.- 8 replies

Ice Chests. Perishable items -- Blood bags and food spoilage
UnarmedCiv replied to UnarmedCiv's topic in Suggestions
And i believe thats still not enough. Not for long-term atleast. As it sits right now, you can harvest blood bags, fill up your entire backpack with them, and they wont ever expire. As long as they arent consumed, they can bake in that oven you call a backpack and they never go bad. You can in theory live for 1 year without dieing and they work just the same. I see nothing wrong with holding it for a few hours max, but once it hits a certain threshold, somethings gotta give. It just seems completely broken to have unlimited blood supplies to hold onto indefinitely. I imagine bases with rows of Tents where clan mates drop blood bags into and just forget about them. Each tent gets its own blood type. You take them like vitamins with unlimited end. With exipiring blood bags, If a clan tries to farm blood supplies, they will have a little opposition from the game mechanics. YES. They SHOULD be large and bulky and waste space. Something as valuable as blood shouldn't be so easily hidden. Perhaps you can only carry a sidearm and shoot it clumsily with one hand until you drop the ice chest. This would make teamwork more valuable. If someone is busy holding the blood, then he will need protection. If your group wants to carry some long-lasting blood up north, you will need to protect a poorly-armed mule. Now, Instead of killing that noob on the shore, perhaps you can give him an ice chest to carry instead of a bullet. Like I said before though, this WILL make DayZ harder. -

Clothing Pockets (Separate the inventory slots!)
UnarmedCiv replied to jaggardos's topic in Suggestions
you shouldnt be able to fit a 4 slot pistol into 2 (2x1) slim vest pockets. Makes no sense. OP gets beans, even though the idea has been posted before. -
Sure your way would work with current mechanics. But what if the mechanics were different? What if your blood bags went bad quickly if you did not keep them cool? Check this out.
