    Suggestion - disable VOIP during gameplay

    how would the game know if someones using their phone? The only way to ensure no outside voip comms is to have a Lan party in a rented office building, separate people from each other in different rooms. monitor their pcs for voip from there, and make them check their phones in at the door.

    changing clothing. Currently its way too instant. You should be completely vulnerable for several seconds while you change clothes.

    new building types

    A Large,dark warehouse. Atleast as large as an aircraft hanger. Little to no light; a flashlight highly useful to search around. Stacked high with shelving. Most crates/boxes have been looted, many of them tossed to the floor. Lots of dark places for zombies to jump out from. A Derailed train on its side. Low-mid level loots. Hard to navigate through it. Veterinarian's office with pharmacy area and kennels in the back. People can take animal drugs and lock humans in the kennel if they have a padlock.. (also we need padlocks). A burned down Library. Who needs books?

    I like the idea of beards over time. But, find a bear on the ground then glue it to your face? Idk about finding beards. Im no coder, but i dont see how hard it would be for the game to check your hours when you join the game; and apply a beard / long hair accordingly. And then over ride that by checking for razor modifiers.

  14. My beans; you have. Also -- Plastic grocery bags (the most common bags on the face of the planet). Found in grocery stores. 4-6 slots. One-time melee use. Low damage. Once used, bag breaks and all your stuff falls to the ground. BUT that one time might of been the lucky hit to take down that pesky bandit.
  15. A mouth call is a device used in hunting to entice an animal to come nearby so that a hunter can easily find wild game. Uses for them in DayZ: Hunting Find your friends Taunt your enemies. Find hunters to kill Types of mouth calls: Duck Crow Owl any animal that will exist in the game. Each mouth call should have more than one sound that can be produced. Mating Mating 2 Distress Feeding

    Fishing (and rivers)

    Fishing.. a slow and risky; but potentially profitable task. Needed: 1. Line 2. Pole 3, Bait a. bait fish, - use a net. b. worms - use a shovel. c. artificial lures. 4. Fish/crab traps. a. craftable fishing dams b. craftable crab traps. Where to fish: 1. Shoreline 2. River <--- also needed!!!! High resources and logistics. Natural fighting area. 3. Swamp 4. ponds (least lucrative) Risks: 1. Long stasis periods (ambushed while fishing) 2. Hypothermia? 3. Drowning? (pulled into water by large fish or boat sinking) 4. Infected Sushi

    I didnt read shit.... store items in a tent or vehicle (like now). Maybe a house,underground, or in a safe if the mechanics are added.

  22. APPARENTLY. WE ARE IMMUNE TO BECOMING ZOMBIES. I DONT KNOW WHERE THIS INFO IS, BUT ITS NOT ON THE DAYZ MOD MAIN PAGE. I suppose this is a topic for a different game. YOU HAVE BEEN BIT! Its only a matter of time before the infection fully takes over your body. You need to find antibiotics. There is still some time to go looting. There are several signs that show your progression towards being a zombie: Stage 1 - Coughing (exists): You cough randomly Stage 2 - Trembling and Visual changes: Shaking as with pain. All objects become shadows. Different than blood loss visual changes. Stage 3 - Gazing: When you are within 10* feet of a visual player, you randomly face you body towards them them for 5* seconds. The hunger is setting in. Stage 4 - Walking: When you are within 20* feet of a visual player, you start walking towards them for 2* seconds. You stop. Stage 3 timers run out. Luckily, You were able to snap yourself out of it. Stage 5 - Zombie: You can no longer control your body's urges. You are now spectating an AI. Active weapons drop, all other items stay on the body. "YOU ARE DEAD" screen pops up after being zombie for 10 seconds. Your body still roams as an AI (full of nice loot). Player-turned zombies should be stronger and more aggressive to balance the potentially nice loot. Each stage should have special animation so that nearby players know your state. Ie. Stage 3: left arm raises up in a bent manner. Not fully extended. Head tilts *Timing and distances are only for a general reference.
  23. I was under the impression thaat when you get that cough, its the start of the infection when you were hit by a zombie. and you need antibiotics to cure it.
