No it's shameful, stupid, cheap and i hate the ones that do it. I must admit however that I did once combat log in the mod but not really for myself, me and my friends were going to meet up and a guy started shooting at me so i logged out so that our whole game night wouldn't be ruined ( they were starving and i had food and weapons). I don't really regret it that much but it was still kind of cheap but i felt that the consequence of me dying would be to big for my friends so that's why I did it. However if I am playing alone I don't mind dying, it feels refreshing lol. Hope you won't spit out hate on me for this lol.

I have fallen off the shipwreck, some shitty little building and the stairs in the black rock castle so 33% of my deaths now consists of me falling, I will never learn. Also i logged off at the top of the green mountain tower so some weird stuff happend when i logged in (saw a copy of myself in front of me, ran away and still died at a corner mysteriously), i mean that place is haunted for real.

Dude idk this game has been weird as hell since yesturday, suddely I'm walking through walls and shit, being dragged by some unknown force, spawning in at the top of the green mountain tower only to see a copy of myself, start running away from it, hides but still dies mysteriously. But speaking of your situation I think you are sick/infected and need antibiotics, could have used dirty rags or someting ^^

In my last dayz life found a mosin and 40 rounds for it, unpacked them and loaded five of them into the mosin. Now I was finally gonna go north on an adventure, I just had to make it out of the apartment buildings alive and I was good to go... but just as I was going to try out my new shiny weapon on some zombies i fell of the rooftoop out of excitement and died... from 3 metres falling on my feet ;_; I've died twice now from ridiculous falls and if it ever happens again I'l cry for real. So do you people have any painful stories to share so i can feel better? //Edit: Move this if I posted in the wrong section x)

I used to bandit in the mod, you know shoot someone geared up and take their gun,equipment, food and move on. In the standalone however I'm not a bandit anymore, I have only shot one guy that tried to attack me with an axe but other than that I don't kill people. It feels more rewarding to be able to talk your way out of a tough situation and if you try hard enough you won't have to bandit, all you need to do is ask someone if they can give you any food (because we all seem to lack that these days) and hopefully they will give you someting. And even if they don't chances are that after you've shot them they will just log out and their body will dissapear. But these days I'm just a carebear walking around lol

I use a underclocked dell xps 15 laptop and i get around 25fps in woods with shadows on and 35-40 on open fields and around 30 in cities (with shadows on)

Iknow this has been discussed before but i think Rocket want to stay away from classes and levels as much as possible so i don't think this will ever be a thing, though i agree it might help reduce KOS it's bound to create some inbalance (aka nobody picks soldier because they will be shot immediately since everybody knows they are not friendly etc..)

Hey don't be mean, I actually appreciated his effort even though it can already be found in the new players section.

I was getting alot lower fps in the standalone but i used some tips and tricks and now i'm on the same level as the standalone, actually getting higher fps in some areas ^^
