one of our servers has wire fence in front of every house in cherno. it's only abused all the time and it brings no urgent aspect to the game.that's why I think it must be removed. Also when you remove it, it reappears after a restart. in a few months it would be a plague. -
which could be possibly a part in real life. there are psychos out there who maybe would have fun killing unarmed survivors. the game was never designed to be balanced. I like it as it is. either you live or you die. that's life (in dayz)

We had this problem before the new beta patch came out. Then we installed it on our server and now the old tents even work and save items which never worked before. -

I didn't say anything else but for a few of our clan it helped. At least for a short time. I think wire fence must be removed completely because it's useless. -

press left shift and right - (minus) on the numpad and then type "flush" this empties your vram. helps for me the most time. also set video memory to default and objects detal to high should help. -

Good for you. On our server nothing is working. Nothing is saved. We duped about 20 items. I don't know what's wrong. -

We are experiencing heavy issues on our server de 443. Items in cars and tents aren't saved anymore. Everything is duping at the moment, cars disappear, broken parts on cars are now saved though but everything else isn't saved. what's goin' on??? I did not tried our other two servers but I think it's a problem related to the hive. -

When a hacker sees you, you don't have the time to log off... Also you can't know if it's a hacker. Better would be a 15 second or even a 1 minute log out. Players could run behind a cover and log out. About 80 percent of the players we shoot either log out before or log out after they die. -

Our Clan (6 Players) played on the server DE 100 and I saw this guy with my thermal view. I hadn't zeroed my gun correctly so I didn't hit him. After I had the correct distance, I started shooting again. Then he disconnected. A few minutes later he came back on and tried to attack me from behind. Our sniper tried to hit him and I tried to flank him. Then he disconnected again. If it was my server he would be banned permanently but ffs it wasn't on one of ours.

okay fanboy. On MY servers I ban for exploiting, which means for example, a player logs off, joins another server, comes back and kills other players, players who log off to evade pvp will get banned. Those players exploiting the game and until there isn't a fix, we have to take control. We ban for wire fence abuse and kit trap abuse. For example, on one of our servers whole cherno houses are blocked with wire fence. Such people have to be banned permanently and this isn't abusing admin rights. Those people are abusing the game on MY server, so I decide, those people don't play on my/our servers. Every server admin/owner must have the right to set rules on his server, like it is in every multiplayer game I know so far. Same on our BF3 server. Shotguns are forbidden. That's our rule. Everyone who disagree with these rules will get auto kicked/banned. I agree with rules, BE has to be on. Not every rule is bullshit but banning is a right every admin has and it's patronizing me in my rights for bullshit. Every hacker will get banned too. We don't ban in suspicion of hacking or anything and also on our BF3 server we check eberything with the utmost care, before we ban. If we don't have any rights on our servers we pay for, then it's patronizing server admins. Every server owner has the right to decide who plays on his server. Just like I said before. Get used to it. -

I do whatever I want on our servers. Those rules are bullshit and nothing else. Exploiters have to be banned and I dont f..cking care what the dev team says. ;) Go buy your own server, follow the rules and be happy :) But please don't spam in my thread. -

Every server owner must be able to decide who is allowed to play on his server. we had a guy on our teamspeak who really was kind of crazy and now all our tents are gone. we know he stole all our cars and later he came on our server and killed everyone in our clan with a hack. so, we can't proof this but we are sure and now we aren't allowed to ban that guy? other thing are the wire fences and kit traps, which are placed in front of nearly all houses in cherno and after a restart they reappear and noone can go in. Those players must be banned. Also exploiters and people who disconnect when they got killed must be banned or at least kicked. The dev's know about that issue and will fix that and future patches but until there isn't a fix the admins must help theirselfes with bans and kicks. I'm an admin since many years now for several games like bf2, bf3, l4d2 and cs and I never was such restricted like in dayz. I agree, some rules are necessary like they are now but i really feel patronized. -

Absolutely what I'm talking about. Since a few days I will ban everyone on our servers who disconnects while pvp, wirefencing abuse, kit trap abuse, glitching, exploiting and hacking. Your connection should be hold open for 1 Minute after you log off, so when you disconnect while pvp you might die and dead bodies can be lootet like it's meant to be played. There are too much server hoppers on the servers who dc after getting shot and their bodies disappear. The server owners must have the right to ban those people, because they ruin the game. We pay over 150 Euro for ours servers a month and we don't have the right to ban those players? I play multiplayer games since 17 years I guess and I never saw something like that. If the dev team wants their own rules, they have to set up their own servers for dayz like blizzard does for Diablo 3. I totally agree, there must be rules for Battleye for example, just like it's for Battlefield 3. If you restrict server owners in banning people from their own servers, you can't expect them to hold their servers for a very long time. Also you can't tell those server owners not to kick for members! Did anyone saw those things on other multiplayer games? I don't and when my server is full all day long, I am not allowed to kick anyone, so I can play on the server, which I pay for? That's ridiculous! -

LU138 ban appeal

The only thing we are ban for, is evading pvp. -
We have two servers. LU138 and DE 244. The LU is from Vilayer, the DE from Hostaltitude and we get lags and red connection symbols every 60 seconds. It's almost unplayable. What's the reason for this? Is it because the hive is in the USA? We are really disappointed at this time, because for other players you stand still and they can shoot you. When the lag is gone you just die.

Yes we had a ticket opened on this issue and I was told, the hive had some issues. After that the server was running good but since the last days we have every 60 seconds a red connection symbol and driving in a vehicle is almost impossible. The server RAM and CPU isn't at maximum, just like you said and since I know HostAltitude I am very happy with the service. I don't comment on the other host I was talking of. -

We restart every 6 hours. We didn't see any difference when we restart. When there are about 10 players, it's better but with over 20 it lags like hell all the time.
