I didn't really get that sort of a feeling from reading your original post. The first line is "Suggestions on this forum can be broken down into three categories:" which to me suggests that you are summing up the entirety of what is posted in the suggestions section as such as well as your topic which is The Final Suggestion List. Now if it had been The beaten to death, repeated endlessly suggestion list then I wouldn't have said anything at all.

I see you are clearly bothered by suggestions, I don't understand why you continue to read threads in the Suggestions catagory if that is the case. People have a right to their opinions and I find it pretty distasteful that you should express yours which ironically wants other people to keep theirs to themselves. I find it funny though that you've picked topics that bother you and insist that Rocket holds the same exact opinion. When in fact a common complaint is how horrible the inventory system is, and funny enough Rocket holds the same opinion and is probably working on redesigning it for a future update. Opinions are just like assholes, everyone has them and realistically it's Rocket's choice of whether or not he wants to listen to them. Then again you're just trolling so I don't expect much in the way of an intelligent response back. :emptycan:

I have nothing against giving money to Rocket, but you do realize he works for Bohemia and at current is being paid to work on DayZ full time, right? DayZ is generating more sales than Bohemia expected of Arma 2 and OA, as well as the DLCs. DayZ has boosted interested in the games quite a bit, so I don't think Rocket is at all hurting because of a free mod that requires you buy a base game.

I think a military ration should be added, but it should be a mixture of I'd say 20% MREs and 80% Chenarus Rations. For the Chenarussian rations they could and should use this: Any variation of the ИРП-П, ИРП-Б и МГРП, or IRP in english would be welcome.

I'm not saying that you're wrong but can you provide a source for this info? I have been doing some searching and I haven't found any references to the M9 being designed to use Subgun ammo. -

True, but I think adding in a Mosin would be an excellent idea considering it is a russian rifle and was produced in the millions. -

Not really. Let me explain, (this is real knowledge btw) The MP5 does not use standard 9mm ammo. If you try and shoot an mp5 with standard 9mm that you'd use in any pistol, it will not cycle the bolt all the time and you'll have to manually cock the weapon. The mp5 uses what they call subgun ammo which is loaded to a higher pressure (has more gun powder than standard ammo) and may cause damage to an M9 or any other pistol. So considering this the MP5SD most certainly uses a higher pressure subsonic ammo that may cause damage to your M9. Granted this is a video game, but since ARMA has always tried to be as realistic as possible especially with small arms, this would certainly be a factor. -
I personally think the removal of the bandit skin was a good thing. Why? Because being able to identify a bandit from a skin takes away from the paranoia that insues when you come across another survivor in DayZ. If the person has already killed a few people, he will instantly be shot and there's no doubt about his intentions, where as a standard survivor has more of a chance of being left alone. This way you aren't able to trust anyone, which adds to the games semi-realistic feel, if this were to happen in real life, you would most certainly only trust your friends and anyone else is not to be trusted.

I kind of wish I'd have expanded the topic a bit, because I think in addition to the AKM being common, the Lee Enfield spawn should be reduced and the Mosin Nagant should be added to fill that gap. I'd even like to see the TT-33 Tokarev added. -

That and I believe DayZ gets a bit boring after a while considering the limited number of weapons. I find that after I get decent gear, I'm not really motiviated to do the hunting around for weapons and gear you do when you start a new life. Variety is the spice of life and keeps things fresh. One of the reasons the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout series of games are so playable for long periods of time is the sheer amount of unique weapons. It keeps the game fresh and you're likely to never get the same weapons in each playthrough. I think DayZ accomplishes this somewhat as each server has completely different loot than the one previous, but once you gather an AK/M4 or your rifle of choice, a decent side arm, food, water, and medical supplies you develop this attachment to what you have and aren't as motivated to venture out due to the possiblity of being killed and having to start all over again. I also believe this is the reason we see so many people disconnecting when they encounter enemy fire. -

To my knowledge it's a folder named @DayZ. Do a search on your computer for it and it should come up. I also for some reason just got a SixLauncher update, not sure if that has anything to do with it. -

I'm having this exact problem. Not sure why SixLauncher waited 4 days to update my client as I see threads where people are complaining about this that are about 4 days old. I've tried rolling back the update and I get the same result. Not really sure what else there is to do besides wait, some people have had success applying the patch (95054) manually.
