I saw the exact thing from the above video yesterday on my home server when there were hackers present on it.

I never played ArmA and I only bought it for the mod, I'm also not retarded. It's pretty bad when a company's product isn't even popular until after a player makes a mod for it that is a completely different theme from the original game.

I would imagine we do because we paid for Arma and not DayZ. DayZ standalone would be a completely different game. We would also have to buy ArmA III if we wanted to play, if DayZ was ported over to it.

The 1st time they sniped me, I died in 1 hit but I was also completely stationary. Lol. Also no, the AS50 AWS is a hacked weapon. I plan of getting rid of it when I log in. It's unfortunate because that thing is completely badass.

It's pretty easy to get around once you get the hang of it. Generally upgrading to the latest beta patch as soon as it's released is a bad idea. I also update the beta myself and backup my previous version in case there are any issues.

I would pay $30 for the game it is now because I'm confident the final product will be amazing. I would probably pay $60 for the final product though.

Well I've made a post in the server section of the forum regarding this, I'm not expecting much to come from it though based on what CraftZ49 said.

I'm just making this post in hopes that any admins for US 838 will see it and check their logs, to ban the hackers. I know the time of the incident was about 9:30pm Pacific Time(UTC/GMT -7). I have chat logs from my messenger that have time stamps and this event was the topic of discussion during and shortly after that time. Here is the video showing the hacked weapon, an AS50 AWS. It isn't shown until about 11:40 in the video. The hackers name is also shown, FIRE IN DA HO, unfortunately I don't know his friends name. Also, I'm not using the hacked weapon. I will dispose of it as soon as I log in again. I didn't realize it was a hacked weapon until posting the video on the forums. Also here is a hacker awareness video to assist you and others in banning them, skip to 5:36. I searched for a thread about this server but there doesn't seem to be one. If I manage to somehow miss it, I will repost this there.

There shouldn't be any safezone that is protected by the games mechanics, if players on a server want a safezone they should have the community make and keep it safe. Very VERY little should be controlled with automated systems in the game, it should be about players make their server the one they want. We should have to have a seperate character for every server that way the communities will flourish.

Lol sorry. I type in white because I'm a bit colorblind and it's difficult to distinguish the grey and black. Perhaps I can find a color we will all enjoy. On my BF3 clan forum, I make all my text dark green.

Ah that's good to know. I want a server that is as free of hackers as possible but still has a high population. Pref. Veteran with 3rd and crosshairs on. I may try a server with 3rd disabled though. Also the MOTD for this server is something like "This server was created for a cheat and hack free environment" haha.

I am actually working that out right now. I have chat logs and such to help pinpoint the time. Then I'll message the admin with whatever info he needs that I have. I really hate hackers, they should all be IP banned, they're all a pathetic disgrace to the gaming community and entire human race.

Only in 3 and because I wanted maximum exposure with minimum spam, my overall goal is to have the snipers in my video, see the video.

After I get decently geared I focus on helping other players by being a medic, I think I will also be doing a lot of bandit sniper hunting once I find a rifle.
