If they remove them and hackers use them, the hackers get banned and kicked from servers just like they do now. Like I said, I didn't get owned by them and I drop any hostile I see with mine. The point is that they defeat the purpose of playing at night. -

Night visions isn't really unbalancing it just defeats the whole point of playing at night. Nobody without night vision wants to play on a night server because anyone with night vision has such a huge advantage over them. Coupled with the shitty flashlight system we have now, playing on night servers sucks without it. Headlamps would be an awesome thing to add. It seems they could be implemented easily and could equip into the current night vision spot. Thermal is just plain stupid to me, I thought it would be awesome to have but it just ruins the excitement. -

Once the combat started the gunshots would attract players anyway. Nightvision makes all of the flashlights, flares and chemlights almost completely useless and at the same time takes a lot of the fear out of playing at night, once you have it. -

The only things that I feel should be removed is Thermal and Night Vision Goggles/Scopes. Not because I got owned by them or anything, they just take a lot of the fun out of playing the game at night. Flashlights should be able to be attached/used with every secondary weapon so that everyone could use one at night right from the start. To use a flashlight on your primary you would have to find a primary with a flashlight, just how it is now, but more flashlight attached weapons should be added. The L85 Thermal is especially lame, once you have it, you're basically no longer afraid of other players, at least that's how it is for me. I will see anyone coming from any direction up to about 800m+ and could easily kill them before they even get close. As for sniping at night, you would have to work with a group of friends, find players when they turn their lights on or throw flares/chemlights. You could have your friend shoot an M203 flare and snipe during the time that it's lit. Keeping night vision on the rangefinder would be fine because then a sniper could know the range to the targets before he saw them, soon as the lights went on he could begin firing, this is balanced because the sniper is the spotter for his team and it generally takes snipers longer to engage their targets because they have to judge the distance. The rangefinder could basically be used to scout locations at night but wouldn't give any real advantage once the actual combat started. The gameplay would be so much more intense, frightening and exciting at night without Thermal or Night Vision Goggles/Scopes. It would also make flashlights and other illuminating items useful. tl;dr - Removing Thermal and Night Vision Goggles/Scopes and adding the ability to use a flashlight with every secondary weapon as well as adding more primary weapons with flashlights would add a lot of balance to the game as well as making night gameplay much more exciting and frightening. Also, This is coming from a player that has plenty of the items mentioned and has used them for a long time. -

It doesn't need to be removed, it just needs to be fixed. Using it to stop, control or trap players is a strategy. If you don't like it then don't try to find ways around it and loot somewhere else. It needs to be easier to remove with a toolbox, should make players bleed if they run into it or vault over it. It should slow and slightly injure zombies. -

I'd rather they deal with the hackers and remove the Alt+F4. Also dying doesn't even matter, you can completely rearm in the same day after you die. -
It starts off a bit slow, a lot of running. It's all part of the thrill of the hunt! After watching it you will see that the solution is not to come complain on the forums, the solution is, vigilante justice... Server: US 838 Sniper 1: FIRE IN DA HO Sniper 2: Unknown (fucking coward) This is for every defenseless player who has been killed by a cowardly bandit. If you know the snipers, please, show them this video, I really want them to see it. Be sure to watch it on Youtube in 720p quality. Also apparently the AS50 AWS is a hacked weapon, I'll dispose of it next time I play, no worries.

My friends and I have settled on the server but we are making sure not to hoard many vehicles. We have a few but we've passed up and given away a few also. It's fun to hunt for the vehicles when others find em first. Lol. -

I would pay $30 for DayZ standalone as an Alpha/Beta. Once the Final product is released I would easily pay up to $60 so long as hackers weren't still a major issue, as they are now. I know hackers will always exist but they are running rampant and unchecked currently, Battleeye is complete worthless garbage. -

My friends have died so many times like that. I dunno how many times I have to stress not running in front of anyone. Lol. -
1. He disconnected in combat like a pansy bitch. 2. He (attempted) Ghosted up behind you like a cowardly bitch 3. He Died like a bitch. Kudos and Beans for you! My friend was just killed in the Barracks at the NW airfield. When I heard the shots I ran over to find his killer still inside. I used my M4A1 CCO SD and put 2 rounds through the glass into his head killing him instantly. He Alt+F4'd so I wasn't able to loot his corpse but I do now I have 1 murder so.... I win! I also picked up my fallen friends' gear to return to him later. Combat Loggers are the biggest pansy cowards in the game and 99.9% of them are Bandits/Wanna-Be Bandits, coincidence? I think not!

Hackers are running rampant and nothing can be done about it. The server admins can ban people all day and more will just take their place. Battleeye is completely worthless. Just have to deal with them and enjoy the time between hackers and hacker events. Disconnect as soon as something sketchy happens and move to another server. -
3rd. Players can already give themselves a big advantage by simply disabling shadows. May as well give yourself the maximum advantage possible or you'll always be the one that gets sent back to the coast.
