Actually, I've been having aslot of fun with the mod these days. I am helping find a niche for a server that collapsed. The options of different playstyles amoung the thousands of servers, plus the new mods, maps, and missons. Things are good for us until SA & beyond..

I tend to agree with smasht on this one. I can't say what he did any better. Yes people abuse this, yes it sucks, you want to stop it? Don't play on those servers. It really is that simple! I admin on a server (i am an admin lite) my job is to bust the cheats, welcome new players with the golden 2 rules, and I offer medivac service for everyone. The golden 2 rules for those curious. 1.) Don't cheat,hack, or script. 2.) Don't be a dick. Otherwise play as you wish. If you are a bandit thru hero you are all welcome.

Black Widow would lure victims into the church in Cherno by asking for help. (In a sultry voice) Then murder them. Dr. Wasteland is a Hero amoung Heros. The medic that popularized that chosen path inside Chenarus. (I was disappointed in Game Informer for not including him in the Top 10 Heros)

Mr. Wallace I think we have a failure to communicate here. It sounded like you are basing DayZ off as a shooter only. If this is your opinion that is fine. I however think of it more of a sandbox. Granted there aren't a ton of sandbox features in it yet. I have no problem with PvP, I am quite active in it. I just believe if you treat DayZ as a fragfest, killing everyone, you are doing a disservice to the game. (just as the people who want just pve) There are players who like to create things inside the world. events, crafting, and whatever their imaginations can come up with. Albeit atm we all have limited options. which is why a lot of folks just pvp. I just think in a game that's said to be a sandbox, we the players should learn to accept we each have a valid playstyle. Unless you hack/script/cheat then you just suck!

This oh gawd please THIS! My :beans: to Mr. Nasty! One can only dream my good man! I tried to get a guy to make me a custom face when they still worked on most servers. Rocket please! All I want for christmas is this option! Forget everything I ever said in the past... this is all i expect in the SA! :D

FFA is free for all, Mr Wallace. Also you misunderstood me i believe. When I say all playstyles should thrive, I mean that the option is there for them to play as they see fit and have an enjoyable time. (Which hopefully will improve in the SA) But because of the free for all enviroment, these type games will always evolve to the wolves feeling superior to the sheep and turning the game into nothing but a frag or be fragged game. I've seen it many times where the few victimize the masses and to keep the money flowing the masses will be catered to. So go ahead and call them carebears because they prefer other avenues of play, then complain like i do about how they took a game you loved and ruined it. By all means play it like it is a giant battleground and the only playstyle is your playstyle. I am to old to care anymore. I play however i feel like playing (on any given day) and will continue until the wolves & carebears ruin yet another game i enjoy.
