Why would you need duct tape if you have a picatinny rail and vice versa?
  2. I'm keeping my hopes up that it will die in the zombie apocalypse.
  3. Please remove. On second thought, forget please. If you keep the 80s music in I won't buy. It's going to ruin immersion completely unless the stations are run by players on the server in some physical location with diesel generators that they need to refuel continuously. It's the end of the world, not a small infected cordoned-off area surrounded by electrically powered radio stations.
  4. This is what I see when I log on to my usual server.. http://i46.tinypic.com/2m82nvp.jpg Is the server hacked or is this some legitimate server addon? The debug box has been officially disabled hasn't it?
  5. Battleye seems to download the file automatically regardless of what version is installed. I've downloaded the file from the webpage and I still get kicked off the game for not being able to update the file..
  6. "You could add an exception to your anti-virus ? Tell it to ignore the file" Yes I know, but I'd like confirmation from the Battleye guys before I do so...
  7. Since this afternoon I can't enter any server.. The Battleye update fails because my antivirus (antivir) thinks the BEClient.dll is a trojan. It doesn't usually do this.. So it's either a false positive or the Battleye website has been hacked.. Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Downloader.Gen [trojan]' detected in file 'C:\Users\lkaslkdfnas\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye\BEClient.dll
  8. I have the Steam version of Arma2 + OA and it doesn't seem to want to update to this beta patch automatically. Since almost all DayZ servers are on this version now I cannot play. Any way to apply the Beta on the steam version?

    So, when do you shoot?

When someone aims their weapon at me.. I don't care that "aim" is "look" for most people, if you don't want to present yourself as a threat there are other ways to look.
  10. 1. Firewood, and perhaps temperature as well, needs to go Not only are you losing heat even though you are jogging everywhere, you also need to go from the safety of a forest, where trees are abundant, to the nearest house to pick up firewood.. There is so much wrong with this system that until Chernarus is covered in snow I think we can scrap it altogether. 2. Food cycle needs to be longer I've already posted another thread about it but this is a suggestion so: There is simply no viable explanation for the need to have to eat a can of beans and swallow it down with a can of Pepsi every 30 minutes. It's bizarre. Imagine how these characters would look within a week on that diet. Can you say sumo survivors?
  11. Well, I've run around like crazy in the woods many times when doing orienteering and still only ate three meals per day. I'd settle for having to eat/drink like once every two hours in game, but 48 cans of beans (and an equal number of Pepsi cans) per day is simply way too much. Especially in a game where everything else is pretty much true to life.
  12. Anyone else feel the food intake cycle does not really correspond well to the day/night cycle? In this game you have to eat and drink like twice every hour. Realistically the players should look like sumo wrestlers after a while, regardless of how many kilometers they run.. :P
  13. I'd understand having to look for wood if we were in the arctic, but most of the Chernarus map is covered with trees, so there should simply be no need to go into houses to look for firewood. :) The firewood should be removed as an item and the fireplace should be constructed using only matches like it was before.
  14. Yeah.. Lost one flashlight and one handgun yesterday by this really annoying bug...
