Yeah, there shouldn't have to be, but what else do you want people to do? At the moment, hacking is out of control. If doing this helps someone to reduce hacking on his server, he'll do it. Very very simple...

Yep, good idea. I personally like the idea of passworded servers which have, say, 75 slots, and they have a website where up to 500 people can sign up to the website and register to the forums and receive a password. If someone hacks, the admins only have to look through much less of the logs to find out who it could be, and remove them from the community. It's a shame it has to come to things like this, but at the moment the game is pretty much unplayable without community action.

Sometimes you can't, believe me, I once tried for like 40 minutes xD. But yeah, if you get barbed wire and erect it so that it goes underneath the quad, that can flip it over sometimes.. it's a bit random though. Worth a try :D.

He payed $30 for Arma2, and DayZ is free? Wow, you guys are all geniuses, a revolutionary idea! Oh, wait, he never said anything about DayZ costing 30 dollars. What he said was he wasted 30 dollars and time. If he bought Arma2 for the sole purpose of playing DayZ, and DayZ is unplayable to him, then he has wasted 30 dollars. If you buy a McDonalds happy meal for the free toy, and the toy is broken, you just wasted $5 (or whatever it costs). Not exactly hard to understand...

Umm.. who? I haven't even made a thread, I'm just saying, don't be surprised to see hundreds more threads about hackers today, and the next day. Report the threads all you want, I'm sure the guy who signed up to the forum to vent his frustration really cares that his post got locked xD.

The more threads about hackers, the better. The forums are a reflection of the current gaming zeitgeist. At the moment, DayZ is broken due to hackers, so the forum might as well be broken due to hacker complaints. Until it's better, don't expect a change.

Why are you so obsessed with getting people to go there? Okay, there's loot, so what? There are hundreds of these bases on many servers, maybe there is a sniper camping there now, this is a public forum you know...

I know, I've found a similar tent base before, and flattened all but 1 tent which I left a single tin of beans in.. on the server restart, all my hard trolling work was undone :(.

I really don't get why six launcher forces you to update.. Why not just have a 'launch' button and an 'update' button.. fucking annoying...

This duping is really getting out of hand...

Basically, once all the duping exploits are fixed, snipers should be a hell of a lot rarer. I killed 7 people by electro the other day, and every single one of them had an AS50... legit? >_>.

Your friend alt tabbed back into the game and shot you by mistake? xD
