JFC...Let me point out some features in both of these towns that are worth going to. Gvozdno has 2 medium yield loot barns and a high yield barn to the east. Not to mention that it also has a pond nearby for filling up water bottles. Yeah, totally fucking useless and no reason at all to go there. And before you piss and moan about barns sucking, what is going to happen when you can no longer dupe your ammo? You're going to need to get shotgun shells and shit from somewhere right? Petrovka, while it really doesn't have much, also has a well for filling up your water bottles. Not every damn town needs to have the bestest most fantabulouslo loot in the game. And pro tip...the northern section of woods is not exactly a safe spot. Numerous clans set up heavily guarded base camps in that area. Honestly, all I see is someone who wants to berate and belittle another person who has a different opinion...

Sounds to me like you're someone who doesnt' get the concept of "testing". This isn't a final product, and shit is gonna happen. Yes it sucks and nobody likes to have it happen to them. I've been an alpha tester/beta tester for countless games, including MMOs. I go into it knowing full well that nothing I do matters, and that at any second a server wipe will force me to start over. I was once a beta tester for Call of Duty: United Offensive. We spent hours going over the map looking for textures that didn't match on the map. Sometimes, testing isn't all about "having fun". I think if you have this mindset, it makes these issues a little less aggravating. You also forgot the golden rule. No, not the three way. Don't get attached to your gear.

I really don't have much of any issue with Lag or server issues. Once you locate the right servers to play on, all is generally fine. Right now, the only thing game breaking for me is the severe graphic glitching near airfields and the seaside towns. Other than that, I full expect that something lame is going to kill me. I know it's an Alpha release, and fully expect stupid shit to happen. I may not be happy about it when it happens, but I soon remember that it's still in development, and none of this crap matters. In other words, I don't get attached to my gear.

I have a 19" flat screen TV right next to my monitor, so I'll usually watch whatever I have DVR'd and running at that time. (Walking Dead, Dexter, etc etc)

This is completely new and 100% original. And I'm with Opeth on this one. I'll try it, if it's good, I'll play both DayZ and WarZ. If not, It's not like I haven't spent money on crap games before...

Good luck with that man. From what I understand, it's not a DayZ issue, it's an ARMA2 issue. (A bit harder for Rocket to solve on his own)

There are plenty of good ideas on the forum for improving them game. Just use the search function and you will find all kinds of stuff. And what does Bethesda have to do with this game?

Yeah, and the fact that all the towns north of Cherno and Elektro are dead is just the way I like it. I hit these towns up all the time for supplies on my way to the NE / NW airfield. There are many times I stock up on beans/soda/knives/maps, etc etc.... Sorry, but just because YOU think they are useless, does not mean they are. Not everyone plays the same way. Not everyone gets immediate access to water bottles and a hunting knife/matches... By your ass backwards logic, last time I was in Elektro there was no loot and nobody was in the town. It should probably be removed because it's useless... :rolleyes:

Yeah, it fucking sucks when that shit happens doesn't it? I've had that to me with a full coyote pack of goodies right outside an airbase. Nothing like setting up some poor schmuck just walking onto the base and seeing my corpse... :(

Since the weapons nerf this is happening more and more. The Enfield was one of the worst possible guns to fire off in a town. The Winchester is now just as bad. I'd stick with an m1911, but make sure it's a head shot.

Honestly, I try to outrun folks. I was at the NE airfield last night and there was a guy headed to the hangar I was in. I could see that he had an AK. I had a Sniper Rifle and the M1911. I just kept running full sprint right past him and headed for the tower. Next thing I knew, I could see him come around the corner, full sprint, after me. So I ran up the steps and waited for him. He came in, I ran up the steps, and heard him fire off a few rounds. I kept on going up to the top, outside and down the ladder. I saw him in the top and I headed into one of the nearby buildings. I waited for him to come in, but I heard him pass by. So I went out and watched him. He kept on going, into each hangar, and as he did, I went the other way. I thought about sniping his ass, but I actually had more fun leading him on a wild goose chase. :P

You must not have received the memo. In today's day and age of gaming, if one person thinks this game sucks, then said person takes it upon themselves to be the spokesperson for everyone. ergo this game is failing... Unfortunately I've given up trying to understand these people, at first you try and then it's like you ate a bunch of ice cream really fast and your head just hurts.

I agree with Zed. Right now it just doesn't feel like much of a threat when you can find so much ammo so easily. I'd rather run into issues where I either have to be extremely selective in where and when I shoot, or I run out of ammo defending the barn I'm hiding in, and have to resort to getting out alive with the hatchet.

Yeah, I agree with sillybanana. You more than likely connected to a non hive server. If You rejoin a different server, you'll probably find your right back where you last were in the woods. However, I have had one instance this past weekend where I joined the server my friend was on and it moved me to the coast. I was up at the NE airfield and when I left and joined the server it put me by Kamenka. I still had all my gear and weapons, I was just placed somewhere else on the map. I logged onto a different server and it kept me at that coastal location. No clue what happened or why, but you seem to forget the first rule of this game. Don't get attached to your stuff.

What if he's going for a high infected kill? I was on the other night, and took great pleasure in messing with the infected at "factory" east of Polana. I had a blast rounding them up and dragging them into the building. I killed about 50 infected there, never saw a single person while I was there.

I'd say some small town on the map, that has nothing of value in it, up north. Khelm maybe? In the middle of the map, Shakhovka maybe?

I love it when that happens. I seriously wish it would happen more. Like all the infected in one area just slowly turn and head towards the sound. This is why I enjoy running through town full sprint. I enjoy gathering up large packs of infected and trying to make it out alive. Running into other survivors that are also shooting at me makes it even more fun.
