Translation - Hey guys, I don't have enough time to stare at the forums all day and I have no clue how to use the awesome feature that is "search" to find more about my topic, so instead I'll just further the stereotype of today's generation of "self entitled gotta have it now" folks and make a new thread on this. 1.) Running as fast as they currently run is probably going to be changed. Their ability to keep up with Cars, at times, it's pretty insane. Other than that, I'd rather not play a zed, especially in a small town on the northern part of the map. You'd almost have to die to a Zed on the coast or the NW airfield to have any real fun. 2.) These items have use, learn to use them. Breaking hospital windows, distracting zeds. They ARE in the game for a reason.... 3.) This would only persist on the current server you are on. They wouldn't transfer to different servers, just like tents/vehicles. 4.) What kind of crafting is in this game? 5.) I agree with you on a few more melee weapons. Right now all we really have is the hatchet. As far as regular guns, I'm pretty satisfied with what we have.

This mod won't be dead, because as far as I know, he's also using this mod to collect data to improve upon the stand alone version. So bugs that we continue to find here, will be able to be squashed in stand alone. At least that's how I understood it...

Funny man. I didn't pay money for DayZ. I paid for ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead. DayZ was a bonus mod. This is kinda like, "Oh hi, I paid for Battlefield 1942 so I could play Desert Combat, why the fuck should I have to pay full price for Battlefield 2?" - which was essentially a stand alone Desert Combat. Again, folks didn't pay for DayZ. I don't give a rats ass if you paid money because you wanted to play DayZ, you paid for ARMA2... You don't want to pay for a stand alone version, here's an idea. When ARMA 3 comes out, which you'll piss and moan about paying for that as well, make your own FREE DayZ mod for that, then you don't have to pay for it. Unbelievable what some people whine over. OMG!!! $30.00....WTFUXOR!!! I can't afford this shit, I got 5 kids to feed!

I've only encountered one so far, and I was lucky to get out of the situation alive. But I'm sure I'll encounter more as I play. I'm just not concerned about it as I know it's an alpha and not a final product. :)

I've only seen 1 hacker on US servers. By some of the ass backwards logic in this thread, I guess that means servers overseas are hacked more often. :rolleyes: Random hacking is random.

I like the Winchester for a starting weapon. Other than that, I'd rather play with the rest of the guns. (Mainly because I know I'll be dead soon after getting them anyways)

Smasht = wise I got teleported, along with everyone else on US1102 last night, to the NW Airfield. I had a ghillie suit and an M24 so I disconnected as quick as I possibly could. Thankfully, I got out unscathed.

I have a prediction OP. Thousands will see your thread, and they will heed your words. The forums will become the land of rainbows and lollipops. Trolls will go back under their bridges and the forums will be the happiest place in the world. Rocket will respond to every single thread, and this game will be the way every single person wants it to be. Yep, that's right, you heard me. Rocket will design this game for each individual person, according to their expectations, and everything will be as right as rain.

Logic, your post has none. littering the forums of a game where there is NO CONTROL over the hacking, is as misdirected as your rage. How is the DayZ crew responsible for what BattleEye, a client developed for ARMA2, isn't catching? Go on, explain away, I'll wait... You want Rocket to find a different anti-cheat? How do you know his stand alone version doesn't have something different? If nothing else, perhaps you should take your rage out on BattleEye's staff instead. DayZ doesn't develop BattleEye. It's fine for people to post what they want, as it is also fine for the rest of us to point out where the extremely obvious "SEARCH" function is, and to teach them how to use it. You think the devs want to comb through 1000 piss and moan threads? Or would they rather look at one? I don't even know why I'm wasting my time, by the level of rage in your post, I'm sure you won't listen anyways... But I will say this, the fact that you're getting THIS worked up about a game means that it might be time for you to seek something that isn't going to send you to the hospital with a heart attack.
