  1. I think playing on a server without name-tags is a bit counter-productive for this project. Today at the high point there were 7-8 people inside the fort and once we started going out for scavenging supplies, I was massively confused who was friendly and who was not. There were several occasions I had a clear shot on what were probably bandits, but I didn't know for sure. Since everyone looks exactly the same, it's impossible to tell. In the end there was me and 2 other survivors left standing, there are so many towers and buildings overlooking the area that it's really not a safe place to stay without overwhelming numbers. We decided to gather whatever supplies we needed and to get the hell out of there before more bandits showed up for the turkey shoot.
  2. I'm outside the fort only have an axe, several dead people on the walkway though, kinda worried.
  3. Am I on the wrong server or is no one on teamspeak?

    Bicycles still spawning?

I found one next to the Pobeda dam yesterday, managed to pedal about 200m before I lost control of the bike and slid off a hill into a lake.
  5. So I wandered about a bit, got myself a 1911 with 3 mags, lots of drinks, food, medicine.Thought to myself, "Wow, I'm doing rather well". So I went on a bit of a wander trying to find maybe a good primary weapon, I'd be really set then. Then wandering on, moving away from towns, since I heard that the hunting posts have good loot sometimes. Fast forward about 20 minutes, I found a lovely little lake, and next to it I found a fully functional truck. "Oh boy, those zombies will never know what hit them when I'm cruising around in this thing." I thought. It was a bit low on fuel so I decided to take a look if there was any fuel canisters nearby. And there it was, like digging up the holy grail in your back yard, a stockpile of weapons and ammo and tools and fuel and everything I could possibly dream of. M107, DMR, several AKMs, AKs, M1014, Lee Enfield, M14 with a red dot sight, probably around 15-20 different weapons and more ammo than I could count. Plus maps, watches, knives, axes, matches, water flasks, etc. Then I got worried that maybe someone owns this stuff and wants it back, so I took off and rode far away. Then I killed a few boars, cooked em up, went for a swim, stole a bike from a zombie and mocked him with it... and then... it hit me... I have enough supplies and weapons to arm a full platoon, enough fuel to circle the map several times and no reason to ever go back into a town... So... what do I do now? The only thing I can think of is just starting to hunt other players for my own sick and twisted personal amusement. PS. If you happened to own such a truck...

    Ooh, great... so... now what?

Well what do other people do when they have everything they could possibly need? I sure as hell aren't going to sit logged in picking my nose for several hours waiting for my character to go hungry or thirsty or someone to shoot me from a mile away. And if this is all there is to it... it's about as much fun as survival mode in minecraft without the digging and the building. (Not very.)
