  1. what about this is making the game easier? I mean i understand the concern that "dem noobs tryna take meh gaym" but you have to be realistic. Starting out without something to protect youself is a poor development decision if the only place you can find something to protect yourself is surrounded by zombies that are just as fast as you. This problem is magnified when you have players hunting you with full gear. A multitool that breaks over a short period wont break the game and there is simply no argument you can muster up against that. You can kill maybe 6-7 zombies before the blade breaks off and then you are defenseless like you so desperately want. It would be one thing if items were more widespread in the world , but the limited enterable buildings make this impossible so the only way to implement items is by spreading things out by miles in the only buildings with working doors (which are spread out by miles and usually fully surrounded by zombies). The "starting zones" im talking about are extremely small , the size of a tiny village and there are very few of them. This is on top of the fact that nearly all of them are by the coast. By having them all by the coast you can limit the items in that area to be low spec so the only way to get really good gear is to travel deep into the country side (ie pvp area where you can gank all the noobs you want) There simply is no reason to torture a gamer because "teh realism" , thats moronic besides the fact that human beings are co-operative and the "social experiment" part of this game falls apart at the seams because nobody is really being threatened by death. In real life you would hug the first person you see in a prospective zombie apocolypse , not shoot them. This game has too many cool ideas to be highjacked by elitist lamers who want the game to stay broken and undesirable for people to play after they have been ganked for the 500th time 5 minutes after spawning.
  2. sort of but not really. More like the very first part of the game you are not allowed to kill other players , and chat is open so you can quickly build up a small buddy team and THEN head out into the unknown where anything goes.
  3. normally i would agree with you because the idea that you can be killed by anyone is kind of cool. When you first start your game and you get shot in the face by some random guy doesnt exactly add to the experiance. It would later in the game when you have established your own squad in the beginner zone and head out into the wilderness and encounter other guys.but right now there is literally no reason not to kill people on sight , its lame and makes me not really want to play if i have to spend 20 minutes getting BASIC shit only to get shot in the face by the first person i come across. Its even worse that after that happened i decided i would kill anybody i saw.
  4. 1. players need to start out with some way to damage zombies. I suggest something like a multitool that only has a limited amount of strikes before it degrades and cant be used again. Somthing from 50-100 strikes until its useless. this creates some sort of safetynet for the player and at the same time encourages them to find new equipment as their multitool will soon dissapear. 2. There needs to be some sort of way to curb PVP ganking that is going on. I suggest some zones should be pve only where players cant kill eachother while the rest of the map is pvp anything goes. (should be the spawn locations and some small coastal villages. Big cities need to be pvp though the same with the open wilderness and the rest of the map. 3. There needs to be more lights in the map. Be it random burning fires or cars , or streetlights or something. Woods and other areas should be complete darkness as should some cities. 4. Most of the gear in the game is surrounded by zombies , it would be nice if there were random crates in the enviroment (deep in the forest for example) that have a rifle or something in it that you would stumble upon. 5. there is no chat in the game , i suggest when you first start out in the "begginer zones" that you have full text and voice chat. And when you leave those areas the current chat system takes over (40m voice chat ect.)
