Carry both? I have an M4A1 CCO SD for killing zombies and playing stealthily. I have an MK48 Mod in case I need to shoot other players. As long as you have an ALICE pack or a large Coyote pack, you can manage 2 primary weapons and a few mags for each as well as supplies.

I hate the MP5 with a passion. So AKS-74 for me by a mile! :)

I use an MSI 6850. Very cheap card now too. Runs the game great on medium-high settings with AA disabled at 1080p.

It's not stealing if you find someone's badly placed tent. :D I have an SVD spare, but I would only trade for an L85 at the minute....

Actually, I forgot, you can just hit the respawn button as it is active when you have a broken bone....

No other way i'm afraid. You either need to crawl for help / nearest hospital, wait to die, or post in the survivor's forum and ask someone to come and help you.

Get the very best gear you can. I currently am running around with an MK48 MOD, M9SD, Ghillie Suit, NVG, Range Finder, GPS... Then get a base going somewhere safe and stash as much great gear as you can in some tents. My friends and I have a base full of ghillies, NVG's, GPS's, etc. Plus awesome weapons like the AS50, M4A1 CCO SD, SVD Camo, FN-FAL, Bizon etc. It's pretty good fun hoarding all this stuff. Even more fun when you find another base and steal all their stuff. :D With the upcoming patch that fixes the ammo replenishing, getting as much ammo as possible stashed is going to be important for the weapons. There are so many things to do on this game. That's what is so great about this game/mod. You make your own fun and are not doing some mundane linear quests.

Mags that magically replenish themselves when you log into servers. Makes ammo pretty much infinite...

It sucks for me because I want to play the game more. If my friends go offline before me, I have to revert to some lesser game. :)

Unfortunately you can only have one character per CD key. It totally sucks in my opinion... I would love to be able to have a separate solo game going. I don't want to spawn in with my main character solo though, as I play with a group and I don't want to risk my character dying or move too far away from where we logged out.. Hopefully when the standalone version of the game comes, you will be able to have multiple characters...

Is it an engine issue, or a balance issue? Does anybody know? It makes it far too easy to lose or deal with a large number of them. I am probably in the minority when I say that I wish they could run indoors too. Would make them much more of a challenge. :D

It would make a stealthy approach much more essential in the early game and add to the tension. It's all too easy to just sprint into a city and gear up at the start when you have nothing to lose as you know you can easily lose the Zombies in any building that has two entrances.

... safe in the trees near Vybor. As soon as I spawn in, I instantly die! Noooooo! I had so much equipment too. Not sure if it was some sort of glitch or server admin killed me. My friends were all ok. The I respawned by the coast and I was in the ocean with broken legs, in shock and shaking! Ah well, it's only an Alpha. :-)

Probably not, but it makes a change from all the people complaining about the game and it's flaws... :D I accepted and moved on...

Turned out quite well in the end. We had run out of medical supplies anyway. So I spawned near Cherno, went to supermarket to get an Alice pack, then filled up at the hospital. Now on my way to meet up with them. Should only take me about an hour. LOL.

It is sorted by the number on the far right, which is how many zombie kills that player has in current life. The number carries over to whatever server is being played on.

Scroll mouse wheel and it brings up option to switch from primary to secondary on the left of the screen.
