Why not, you have got nothing to lose? Often that's the best way to gear up after a death.

Probably better just to respawn. I find sometimes it gets a little boring having been alive for a while. Once I crawled around for about 3 hours with a broken leg in the hope of finding morphine (which I didn't). Sometimes it better to cut your losses.

Sounds like you want a shortcut into the game. Just play, sometimes discovering things for yourself gives you the most satisfaction. Have fun, enjoy. :)

Nope not normal, the longest time on loading screen was probably 3 mins. Normally it's about 10 sec to a minute.

I think it probably depends where you are. Was at Balota and it was terrible. Elecktro was no problems.

New Hotfix Stopped Artifacting... and caused even more problems.

Was at Balota and the artifacting was the worst I've ever had. Tried flushing but it didn't work. Got killed as a result in the control tower, even though I didn't have any weapons and wasn't a threat. Respawned near Elecktro with no artifacting but Zeds now like to run full pelt thru solid walls. -
WTF Just downloaded 1.7.2.5 after recent death, went to Elecktro to re-gear on the run and now Zeds are running thru walls. Yeh I know they glitch thru walls but now they are running thru walls eg. firestation at Elecktro.

I'd keep M4 SD, don't like the holo sight much.

Use trees or bushes which have branches that go all the way to the ground. Pine trees are good for this.

Crawled around for about 2 hours the other night after receiving a broken leg thanx to a zed. Decided to suicide because I couldn't find morphine in Stary or anywhere nearby. As a result after finding 5 morpine at a heli crash I've decided to stockpile the stuff. I've have now learnt my lesson after having to respawn 3 times recently because of broken bones.

I can't find an M107, DMR or any other sniper rifle.

I found a M107 at a heli crash on my way to NWAF with 2 mags put it in my backpack & continued on. Got to the airfield found a DMR with 2 mags + 5 more mags in the surrounding area. Decided to drop the M107 as I already had a M4CCO with 4 mags having never fired the 50cal. It was a difficult decision but i figured the DMR had way more ammo & the 50cal mags seem to be too few & far between.
