Well I'm not sure how many fishes I'd be able to catch for food and I doubt I'd make it a week drinking sea water but it's worth a shot.

I understand what you're saying but with the character I currently have I'm trying to stay alive as long as possible and I don't particularly want to die due to a bug.

Is it possible to report this issue to them and let them sort it out in their own time?

I was around the North part of the map when I tried to equip a camo clothing. I tried a few more times but to no avail so I went about my business. About a minute later I get teleported into the ocean with all my gear but still in civilian clothing. I know I've ended up here because of the camo clothing but I thought this was supposed to be fixed? I'm running the latest beta-patch and our server has been updated so I don't know what's gone wrong. My friend who was with me removed all of their items and tried putting camo clothing on and it worked which is kind of strange. But I digress. Is there any possible way for to get to land? I've logged into numerous other servers and I'm definitely in the ocean. Is it possible for me to edit my DayZ files to adjust my position to somewhere on the map? Is it possible for someone to edit my position? I would like to try as many things as possible before respawning due to good gear.

I wouldn't mind trying DayZ on a new engine but one of the reasons I've fallen in love with this mod is because or the Arma 2 engine. My only grievance with the Arma 2 engine in movement inside buildings or in a close quarters area.

Also I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning but when [sE] RickY was at the red barn all the zombies in the area were just stood still and couldn't move. If you got close they would attack you because they were agroed, but like I said, they couldn't run.

How will I know if this issue has been dealt with?

Unfortunately I do not have Fraps so I have been unable to document this event.

Server: LU92 Time: 18:10 - GMT+ (00:00) - 14/07/2012 Incident: A player named [sE] RickY was at Stary Sobor in the red barn with an AS50 killing players. I myself was also in Stary Sobor so I could hear the shots. [sE] RickY was killed two more times by other members of the server before I myself eventually killed him in the red barn. It is at this point I realise he is using hacks as there is no way he could be getting from the coast, to Stary Sobor, with all of his gear in less than a minute. I wait to kill him once more but I was instead killed by him, thankfully it was at such close proximity the server stated that '[DLW] Rogan was killed by [sE] RickY (friendly fire)' There are other members of [sE] on LU92 and I am worried that they too may have the hack/mod but I can only be certain that [sE] RickY is using them.
