I agree, this has been bothering me for a bit actually. I've never been back to Elektro or Cherno since everyone and their dog heads there right after spawn. If you had to walk across the map to reach it, the city would be more appealing. You wouldn't have as many noobies who just found their first gun and are itching to try it out as often. This would cut down on the people who instantly respawn when not right beside Cherno or Elektro as well, as no matter what they are making the journey. All in all yes, I agree 100% that we need a spawn change. I think the north would work a lot better with the current gameplay. -

I'm a survivor who doesn't actively seek out and destroy. If we cross paths directly I will avoid as much as possible and engage if needed. People like you are why I keep playing this game. I 100% agree with your post and your methods of gameplay. Keep keepin' it interesting bandits. -
I've been playing this mod from nearly the beginning and have never died to a hacker. They will be in time globally banned and will either have to buy a new game or play single player. We all know hackers exist and this is the exact reaction they want. Stop giving them the satisfaction.

CZ 550, I proceeded to camp out in Elektro giving support to noobs till I ran out of ammo. Then I fell off a ladder and bled out.

What the fuck. If I ran into something like that I can say for sure I would shoot everything that is moving and then proceed to run like a little bitch.

It felt pretty lonely out there when it first left, especially as someone who only travels solo. But I’ve gotten used to it and prefer it gone now. I find I can get way more immersed in my character if there isn't a constant stream of blue chat.

People are just really attached to their gear right now. Once they get better/more experienced at the game I think they will stop giving as much of a fuck and will be open take more chances to communicate. Also sneaking is not a good way to make friends. That is incredibly suspicious

It's good if you haven't come across another primary, and I do love how silent it is, but the bolts really hog your inventory space.

It's kinda hit or miss for me, i'll go a few hits without bleeding and sometimes the first hit will make me bleed. EDIT: To answer your question I think it's just a 50/50 chance. -
I want everything to change and bend and possibly break. I don't even give a fuck if it turns into some sort of hairless cat with googly eyes and a faint smell of rotten fish. I'm still gonna be eatin' beanz and hiding in bushes. EDIT: I do really like cute puppies though.

Don't worry, the game changes so much that at the moment how easy or hard it is is kind of irrelevant. We will most likely be thrown a bunch of new features to test in the coming weeks that will completely change gameplay again.

I don't get why we need to be seperated into "two camps", we are all testing the same game and we all have different opinions and ideas on things. While we are for sure helping shape the mod, all the final decisions are coming from Rocket. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=13515&pid=134403#pid134403 There is a post by Rocket from a thread with the exact same content as this, please give it a read through. -
Try waiting on the outskirts of the town for a bit before going in to loot it. There will be more zombies, but more chance on actual loot spawning before you make it there.

Friendly fire usually means it was killing in debug, which is a bannable offence. Where did this occur? -
I really like the idea. I believe something very similar is already implemented where zombies will gravitate to players. As in when you are crawling in a field and all of a sudden it seems like all the zombies are conveniently in your flight path. (Might not actually be real, saw somebody say Rocket had implemented it though.) But I would definitely love something like this to be implemented. These last few zombie patches have made this game a great deal more enjoyable to the lone survivor. So this added tension knowing you've got to get your beans and go, before you have to shoot your way out of the barn you're in would be fantastic.

Do Ghillie suits put you in water still?

Camo/Ghillie suit started working fine for me as soon as I upgraded to beta. I did have the glitch before this so I believe it may of been a fix. I have seen a few posts of people claiming it does still happen, but i'm yet to experience it again.
