Or you can try JAPH SoCal private hive; you spawn with gear and have different ways of earning towards gear ("Rewards Program").

Public servers aren't supposed to have side chat enabled, however private hives, like mine, have it enabled.

You could check out JAPH SoCal server website if you're interested in a server with something unique to offer.

1. Wait for "Setup complete ..." then hit ESC before being fully loaded into the game, leaving the menu up. 2. When fully loaded into game hit "Respawn" as it will be enabled (first step is a bypass to the "respawn" button being greyed out) 3. Disconnect and respawn back into the server. OR come check out my private hive where you don't have to worry about such issues (CHEAP POP!!!!).

Make that 7 slots available for the original non-PvP server. I've been forced to give up my slot due to the fact of some issue that prevents me from successfully connecting. Admin are excellent as well as the player base; everyone sticks to the rules and play nicely when you're a newspawn/newbie.

Yup, would sure make for some interesting encounters ... crowbar vs hatchet ... unarmed vs unarmed vs a shiteload of zeds.

I believe the Redux mod might do something like this.

He wouldn't need to, he'd probably thunderdome the server or simply turn on godmode.

PLEASE do try that weapon spawn tweak!! Now a player would really have to think about whether or not to use that gun, be it on a zed or on another player. IMO it should put players in the position to not KoS so often versus trying to work as a team. Waste a shot/bullet/shell hoping to get something but come up with an empty gun, no other items, and pissed zombies up your trumpet only to realize you could have worked with the guy and cleared the whole city together.

Guess that answers my question; still beware other players.
