So after four days of trying and dying I eventually made it into a high value barn where I FINALLY found some supplies and a hatchet; I could finally defend myself. I decided to not go to far as I was planning to leave and logged off behind a pile of hay on the upper area. When I came back my character for some reason was spawned at the top of ceiling causing me to fall to my death. I've tried a couple times since then to get to a high value barn or home but each time I die by player or zed. Would any kind person be willing to bequeath me a hatchet so I can get going again? PM please, any details do not need to be spread to any possible bandits.

Maybe the guy kept typing friendly but both of you not being on the same channel you never receiving it he thinks you're a hostile and takes you out. Either way it sucks but whatchagonnadoboutit? -
Gave you mah beans Bandito so you wouldn't starve in the future. Yup, the one and only time I ever encountered anyone I made sure not to do anything to get him killed, since I was unarmed at the time.

I figured after I had armed up then maybe go take on Elektro buuuuuuut in the mean time there's other places to go and other items to raid. Can zeds run through hangars at the airfields?

Yeah that is pretty much a dick move; he saves your @$$ and you kill him.

Managed to move from Komarovo to Balota and successfully raided the medium value industrial building near the dock/wharf. I ended up with some ammo, bandages, a hatchet, and a few other items. Time to quietly move on to the airfield when attendance is low on a nearby server.

DayZ is nothing but the biggest pile of dog shit ever programmed. I've managed to get a hatchet 3 times, and all three times after getting them the system somehow fucks me over by killing me or setting me unconsious. Fuck DayZ I'm going War Z. -
Would it be frowned upon to "respawn" until in such a position? I'm currently stuck north of Komarovo and that trip could take awhile.
