Hi there! I'm a regular day z player and I'm looking for a group to play with. I hear so much about this game being so much better when working as a team and I want a firsthand experience. So I'm putting together a team. Post your replies and if you meet the criteria, we can play together and hopefully brave the infected wastelands of chenarus. Criteria for entry: MATURITY - this means no yelling or swearing, age limit does NOT apply, but a certain maturity level is required. Be ready for anything, be willing to negotiate and be willing to co operate with everyone else on plans of action. Skype or steam and headset - we need to be able to talk to each other to form strategies and react quickly on the move. In your reply, just say what you have. Play time - this is variable. I pretty much play whenever on weekends. But a good time for me is usually from 5-6pm for a few hours in AEST time. If everyone could agree on a time to play, we could kick some serious ass TEAM WORK - the point of this group is teamwork. I expect that we can divide loot to those who need it, and we do not shoot each other. We can talk and come up with plans and solutions to problems. E.g. There's a field of zombies, do we attack or attempt to go around? We talk it out as a team. If other players attack us, we decide what to do as soon as we reach cover. This is why we need headsets people! We must also be willing to meet up together. System - I'm not fussed about your hardware, it just needs to be able to handle gameplay. My laptop always plays it at about 20 for and I consider that playable. Hey, I'm looking to join up with someone so I'll apply Age: 15 Name: Tyler Location: Australia Dayz Experience: I have had the game since June 2012, and I am not as experienced as I'd like to be. I know the basics and know how to survive. Role Preference: I don't mind being a Medic, that could carry just a light weapon such as a handgun or revolver, that could heal everyone when needed. But I also don't mind being an infantry sort of person, someone who can take zombies out. I could also be a scout, or I could get in and out of towns real quickly and get supplies. How does the time work? Because when I join I would like to play during the day time

The player known as "CrucialThought" had immediate hero skins and immediate sniper rifles with thermal scopes. Because a few people I teamed up with killed him and looted him, everyone inside the building we were in died. Broken bones and immediate blood loss to 0. We said he nuked us but i have no idea what it was and I apologize for the lack of a screenshot but please, could someone please deal with this hacker? Thank you. Regards, tyman421

name is tyler. ingame i am tyman421. i bought arma just for day z a few days ago and i love the game. i already died twice. i havent met any other players though. in this game i live by simple rules: Trust no one, only kill if needed (or if there is no risk) and have a kick ass time :) I love this mod :) I have just found a shotgun but i do not want to use it yet. i will not attack anyone unless they point a gun at me. if you point a gun at me i will be the first to pull the trigger. you have been warned. you can join up with me but if you point a weapon at me I will lose all trust in you and may kill you. I am willing to help any one near the coast find some weapons. i will head there and I will not attack anyone. good luck fellow survivors

make sure it is the 94876 patch. that is not the newest one and i have seen around that people have had to downgrade to 94876 patch. this is the link to the 94876 patch: ftp://downloads.bistudio.com/arma2.com/update/beta/ARMA2_OA_Build_94876.zip the 94876 patch is where most servers are at. only 20 servers have the latest

i will try this and i will edit and say the outcome i get the 3d engine error. BUT after i undid everything i did except for the patch, i saw the launch arma 2 oa beta shorcut so i launched that and it started working. everything looked really different though.
