I think it's random. However I was expecting to see Pyramid Head from Silent Hill or something when I heard that chain sound for the first time.

I was in a patch of trees near Stary Sabor and I logged off there. (nothing really was nearby) When I spawned there was a tent in front of me at about 10m. I was like 'oh goodie' at 1st but then I heard zeds: 4 forking zeds were around me, just standing there looking at me =| I was rather freaked out, since I didn't see them right away, because it was night and the lightning helped me see them XD I think they were there because the owner of the tent logged off or something, still was scary tho XD

I got attacked by some bandit at the airfield, I had NV on so I lost him easily trought the trees next to the barracks. He happened to have a car parked outside of the barracks so I went back slowly, as he was still looking for me I guess and stole it. I got the car and started driving it, trying to get away from the airfield then he started shooting but I managed to run him over. He had lots of gear and stuff, so I was happy driving down towards stary sabor. Was nice and easy til' I had to sneeze and that caused me to forking crash the car and it exploded :(

Beats getting shot in the neck by a sniper rifle then waiting 5 secs' while seing red, then being all healthy and well. It's still a game though. Or shall we just ask for realism? Need I remember you can't take a s**t or a p**s in DayZ? (think I heard somebody once complain how we can't use the new toilet paper trash). If this was supposed to be a joke thread, where ppl would post funny "logic of DayZ things" you should say so, cause' this is looking like a complaint topic...

Oh I guess they could destroy the tent. (I didn't know that was possible) Oh well, I was assuming they dissapeared because there's like 1-2 ppl max on that server during weekdays. But yeah, I went on walking down towards electro, might try to find another car to fix up =]

So, I've had DayZ for quite some time now, but I never really ever had a car until last week. Had 3 cars these past week. I crashed one, one got stolen and the final dissapeared. I was on as server playing. I had a UAZ which I repaired and got working (it used to miss 2 wheels and fueltank was damaged). I was in the mountains and had a tent set there with the car. It never went away as I loged off for like 3 days. Today I went on and nothing was there. (I still had my pack stuff and items in my inventory). The "X" on the map that ppl marked were gone, so I assume the server restarted? Do you lose Cars and tents when server restarts? Or is there a way to save them? ( I highly doubt anybody stole my car and tent, I had too many items in the tent to fit in the car, as the car was full, and I was somewhere quite hidden =] ) (sorry for sounding like a noob, didnt play for a while, and as I said never had a car 'til recently XD )

I think the removing food items were a bad thing. Maybe a poll should be made to not piss off ppl with the names, but that complaint was kind of lame anyway (I would have just left them in the game) Anyway, I saw a post complaining about the new junk loot. I think knives and razor blades should be able to be used (razor maybe kill yourself, I mean not once I have found myself with broken legs from a tree root and have to crawl to a city XD) and knives well, you could kill an animal with a few knife shots (depending on it). Anyway that's an idea suiting for the standalone I guess. BUT we need to stop all these complaints. For **** sake. I dont like cans' names let's just have the ppl working on this just remove the cans... Toilet paper can't be used and neither does the razor, let's just remove the variety of trashloot... Really? I think variety of resources is a good step forward. I feel good when I see more kinds of trash, or food or anything. Look at killing animals, it used to give you "meat" now you get, bacon, chicken wings etc... Plus the whole "can incident" pretty much just trew away the work the ppl that designed them put into this game. I think they deserved a bit of respect not this BS. On other news.. My 1.7.6.1 sometimes makes me create a new character, and then out of the blue sometimes I get an old one back XD I still manage to get on a few servers. But when I moved from .6 to .6.1 server connecting and the whole caracter missing/reappearing and no-reason kicks off servers have escalated a lot. I hope it will be fixed soon :(

I was just playing on a server with a character. I wen't off it to eat, and when i came back I had a character that I played with last week -_-

Ok so I can barely get on to a server since the past 2 updates. I finally got on a server yesterday, got a lot of supplies and now I couldn't join a server. I kept trying and I finally go on one, but it asked me to create a new character. This is like my 4th character I lost. Not to mention that I keep getting error that IDK what file is not there, or kicked off due to the battleye #20 script or so on. I uninstalled Arma, Dayz and everything and re-installed them from scratch but nothing works -_- Now I'm on a server but I don't know if its worth playing since who knows when I'll be able to get on a server again and if I do I'll most likey lose my stuff -_-

I can't seem to join any server since this hotfix :(

I reinstalled 1,7,6 and I can play apparently :/ I guess I won't play 1,7,6,1 untill they fix it or bring other hotfix or something XD I manged to get on a server with the .1 hotfix and I killed myself. But after that I couldn't go on other server, so I went and downgraged to 1,7,6 and I got my Ghillie suit man back. WTf is going on EDIT: NVM. 1,7,6 wont work now either. I got rido f the 1.7.6.1 man, but the ghillie suit man I had on 1,7,6 is still there, and I can't get into a server to kill myself on 1,7,6 too, in order to see if that fixes the issue and lets me create a new character I can use on 1,7,6,1 I'm mad -_-

I still can't join any server =[

I was on 2 days ago and played a bit. (got some stuff in cherno) Yesterday I updated to the 1.7.6 version and played on a server I added on favs. I started on the coast like I was dead. I just went to electro and started over. I got Ghillie suit and a lot of new cans and stuff. (I never died 2 days ago, it some how reset me) Today I updated to 1.7.6.1 and it didnt work. (I get "Something went wrong. Disconnect and try again" after hte counter thing reached like 40+). I reinstalled 1.7.6 , went on my fav'd server (which didnt update to 1.7.6.1 yet) and I got rid of everything that was removed (the cans), I only kept MRE and Unknown can. Then I reinstalled 1.7.6.1 and went on a server. FUnny thing is I got everything I had 2 days ago, and the "2nd character" so to call it, with the ghillie suit was not there. I quit the server and tried to go on another and now I can't join any server. I tried almost all servers with my version (with decent ping). Help? =[

I don't really mind the can names XD
