It would encourage many bandits to reach the most wanted list. However,some sort of reward system would easily make them kill eachother.

i would like to sign up. Only thing is i play mostly EU times, but we need good people over here as well... I'm a 31 y/o guy from Oslo, Norway. I just starded playing DayZ the other day, and although i've figured out the basics, i'm still a total noob, and in need of some teammates. i had my first encounter with a bandit today. Or, at least someone sneaking up on me and attacking me unprovoked. I had just respawned, and was not carrying anything of value, when this bastard Jhonnyjohndoe or something like that jumped me. Seeing as i was utterly defenseless i began to run. He followed me, so i ran some more, and he was still hellbent on killing me. I decided that there was no way this murderer was going to get the best of me, so i bolted for the nearest town, hoping he'd understand what i was up to, and stop chasing me. Well, he didn't. So i ran in to town, aggroed four or five Zeds, and bolted back towards him. I would have liked to have seen this guys face, cause he turned an ran like the lightning. I followd with the Zeds on my heels. For some reason I was cathing up to, and eventually, outrunning him, and then the Zeds changed their target. I kept running until i heard that the Zeds overtook him. I watched from afar as he tried to fight them off with his crowbar as they ate him alive. Lucky for me, he managed to down a couple before he died, and the two that were left, quickly filled their stomachs i guess, and left. I of course, headed over to the corpse of my assailant and got all of his gear. But as often is in this harsh world, my luck soon ran out. Unfortunately between the Zeds and my attacker, i had sustained heavy bloodloss, and my vision was fading. Finally, while searching for food and meds. I got overtaken by an Army Zed, and i became food instead. This has not, however, in any way dampened my spirit or crushed my resolve. I'm as intent as ever on finding some good friends out there. Ah well. Made it this far. Eventually died axing a Zed. I actually made it quite a distance, but i never found matches, knife or any other blood-related gear. When blood was at just over 100 I found a water bottle, which kept me alive for a little longer, but it didnt take many hits for me to go down, unfortunately. hope i run into some strangers who are able to help the next time.

I've just heard the stories about how ppl are being shot by alleged helpers. but never mind... and thanks.

no im just letting everyone know i,m NOT theirs for the picking just because Im immobile. im pretty sure no sniper will hit me where i am.

My vision is blurry and I keep falling unconscious to the ground, so i reckon i won't make it anywhere to find meds... Ill just sit here, gun in hand, hoping someone (friendly) will come along Should any of you head for the fortress on "Rog" Il'l be happy to trade you something for some meds. Let me know if your headed that way and on which server, and maybe we can hook up. PS! I will blast the head of anyone not announcing that they are coming. And please. Keep your weapon down. For you own good. :)

Greetings survivelings, My name is Glenn Im 31 years old, from Oslo, Norway, i go by g_maZta on steam and Vidar Theisen in DayZ. I just bought Arma II a couple of days ago, only to play this mod, after reading an article on gamer.no, naming DayZ "possibly the best survival-game out there". And although my references are rather limited ,I must concur, that this mod is awesome! At first I was too scared to even go near anything resembling a Zed, and when i did, i died. so i decided to read the forums and watch some videos before heading into the wilderness for real. Today I've spent my first real hours in DayZ, and this is how it went. Now i started with virtually nothing on the coast. I checked my position and headed up the hills for a Deer Stand, hoping to arm myself for the first time. It was a fair walk, but finally there i could to my relief see that there were only two Zeds there and they weren't close to the tower. Sweet. I crept up the ladder only to find it was already looted. Nothing there. What a disappointment. I quickly chekced the online map again and headed for a nearby farm, where i found a rifle complete with ammo. This was very lucky seeing that a Zed had chased me inside. I just got my rifle and gave him one single headshot and he dropped. My first Zed kill! I gathered some more stuff and headed on outta there. Unfortunately i had injured myself in the fight with the Zeds and even though i now have a rifle, im in desperate need of medical attention. I need meat or blood, fast. I'll leave it at this for now. I gotta head for some med supplies. If you see a Guy named "Vidar Theisen" wandering around, don't be afraid, I won't shoot you. At least i wont as long as you keep that gun pointing away from me.
